The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of trading on the international foreign exchange market. The aim is to verify the existence of a business strategy that will lead to an appreciation of invested capital on a demo account. The theoretical part describes the function and significance of the Forex market and defines Forex trading using technical and fundamental analysis. The practical part contains a detailed definition of the business strategy and brief descriptions of transactions made during the testing of the strategy. Following chapter comprises an evaluation of the results of the business strategies and their comparison with the stated aim.

Markets and Electricity Trading from Renewable Sources in EU

The submitted diploma thesis describes particular types of European energetic exchanges, focuses in depth on principles market in Czech Republic and studies the price development on spot and futures markets. The main idea of this work is to focus on renewable energy sources (RES) and their influence on energetic markets. At first, operational and reliability properties of RES are explained and then their development support is analyzed. Last chapters focus on how the power grid is impacted by RES that are hardly predictable source with local production characteristic. There are also outlined problems originating from irregular production that are linked to a surplus of electric energy, but also on energy shortage caused by bad weather. These problems influence international commerce and reduce the capacity of cross-border profiles.

Asociation of music with a specified product in commercials

The main goal of my thesis is to figure out how big is the influence of music used to promote products in the form of commercials. Do people link the music used in commercial with the product that the commercial was promoting when they hear it and so could the commercial become more effective if we use music that is commonly played in for example radios? I tried to figure this out by doing a qualitative research in my thesis. I was also looking into musical preferences in commercials. By applying a quantitative research I was trying to figure out how much do personal musical preferences affect what we want to hear in commercials. My research commed with, for me, some interesting results. I found out, that most people do not link music with the commercial, that it was used in, when heard sepparately, no matter if the music is known more or less. I also figured out that personal musical preferences do not affect what music we want to hear in commercial as much as former expectations and stereotypes.
