Cloud Processing of Atmospheric Aerosol Spectra.
Zíková, Naděžda ; Pokorná, Petra ; Pešice, Petr ; Sedlák, Pavel ; Ždímal, Vladimír
Atmospheric aerosol (AA), and its influence on the cloud formation, lifetime and other properties, remains the most uncertain (with low confidence level) element in the IPCC radiative forcing estimations (Stocker et al., 2013). The AA, however, is influenced by the cloud processing as well (Collett et al., 2008., Zíková and Ždímal, 2016). Cloud processing of AA (and vice versa) can be described on fogs, or on low clouds present at a suitable station. An example of such a station is Milešovka, where fog is present for almost 55 % of the time (Fišák et al., 2009), giving a great opportunity to explore the changes in the particle size distributions due to the cloud processing.

Changes in Sub-micron Number Size Distributions at Czech Rural and Urban Background Stations in the Last Ten Years.
Zíková, Naděžda ; Ondráček, Jakub ; Wagner, Zdeněk ; Ždímal, Vladimír
In this work, not only total concentrations are evaluated, but also particle number size distributions (PNSD) are compared in the last decade at the two stations, and possible explanations for the change in concentrations and PNSD changes are looked for. Additionally, also the change in the frequency and strength of the NPF events is evaluated.\n

Properties of Aerosol, Produced by Laser Ablation of Standard Materials for ICP-MS Analysis.
Holá, M. ; Nováková, H. ; Ondráček, Jakub ; Vojtíšek, M. ; Kanický, V.
Laser ablation (LA), together with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) as a detection system, has become a routine method for the direct analysis of various solid samples. The product of laser ablation contains a mixture of vapour, droplets and solid particles. All components are finally transported to a plasma by a carrier gas as a dry aerosol including mainly agglomerates of primary nanoparticles. In general, characterisation of aerosols by their particle size distribution (PSD) represents indispensable tool for fundamental studies of the interaction of laser radiation with various materials. The particle size distribution of dry aerosol originating from laser ablation of standard material was monitored by two aerosol spectrometers – Fast Mobility Particle Sizer (EEPS) and Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS) simultaneously with laser ablation - ICP-MS analysis.\n

EMC of switched-mode power supplies
Olivík, Lukáš ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design flyback converter with given parameters complying with standards for electromagnetic compatibility. This thesis describes detailed design of the flyback converter. It summarizes the recommendations for PCB design. Knowledge from number of comparative measurements of the impact of component selection on conducted emission signature was applied during the flyback converter design. Big part of the thesis is aimed on conducted emission measurement and separation of common mode and differential mode emissions. The simple and fast Time domain measurement of conducted emission is described. Final measurement of designed converter was performed at the end of the thesis.
New Particle Formation Analysis of Atmospheric Aerosol at Košetice Observatory
Zíková, Naděžda ; Ždímal, Vladimír
In this work, we present basic statistical analysis of new particle formation events frequency at the Kosetice observatory; the station represents a typical background concentration of atmospheric aerosol in Central Europe.

Statistical Evaluation of New Particles Formation Events at Košetice Station
Zíková, Naděžda ; Ždímal, Vladimír
In this work, we present a basic statistical evaluation of NPF at Košetice background station in the region of middle Europe.Variability between the two years is not high, especially ratio of NPF events to all classifiable days varies only by several percents between the two years. Results from Košetice station are very similar to those from Hyytiala station (Finland), despite different geographical location and different time periods.
