Optimization of HV power generator f = 13.56 MHz
Potúček, Patrik ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the optimization of a high-frequency class D power generator, designed for power excitation of a plasma chamber operating at frequency f = 13.56 MHz. The main goal is to optimize generator parameters to ensure best performance regarding the given plasma chamber, whose intended application is to affect the surface of the materials: improvement of the surface wettability, or modification of materials electrical properties: for example, an increasement of dielectric strength of insulators. For the purpose of the generator’s output power monitoring and electromagnetic parameters measurement, a suitable set of sensors which are able to repeatedly measure up to frequency fm = 400 MHz were constructed. A probe for electrical field intensity E evaluation was constructed and tested. This probe is used in the vicinity of plasma incidence on the sample surface. Constructed device (power generator – plasma chamber – sensors) was subjected to tests and results are briefly discussed.

Effect of Rogowski coil non ideal design versus adjustment based measurement conditions on current measurement uncertainty
Ziegler, Jiří ; Pernica, Roman (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is focused on possibilities of measuring current in medium voltage systems. Using of current transducers for current measurement in such systems is described here more detail. Common application and behavior analysis of the current sensor with Rogowski coil in typical installations are discussed here as well. Subsequently these conditions were simulated in laboratory, experimentally verified and evaluated.

AC current sensors
Hašpica, Štěpán ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of the bachelor's thesis is to anylize chosen types of AC current sensors with focus on design of one chosen type. Sensoring of AC current can be done for instance by current measuring transformator, Hall's sond or Rogowski coil. These ways and types of sensors are disscussed in chapter no. 2. But main focus of thesis is in finding one definite algorithm for current meassuring transformator. New possible way in design is in-depth disscussed in chapter no. 3. Current meassuring transformator, or other types of sensors finds great application in area of power energetics and electronic engineering.

Hlavní funkcí rozváděče je ochrana pracovního personálu, rozpojování/odpojování a spínání, izolování, měření proudů a napětí, chránění a ovládání zatížení a komunikace dat do řídících systémů. V každé z výše zmíněných funkcí probíhal technologický vývoj v průběhu posledních 40 let. Dnešní rozváděče jsou spolehlivé a elektrickému oblouku odolné zařízení, zoptimalizované téměř k fyzikálním limitům dielektrických, elektromagnetických a termodynamických polí. Vakuové vypínače zajišťují stálou a spolehlivou vypínací funkci. Taktéž v oblasti chránění, řízení a komunikace došlo k mnoha technologickým proměnám. Pouze oblast měření proudů a napětí setrvala z technologického hlediska posledních 40 let beze změny. K dominujícím měřícím technologiím dneška stále ještě patří indukčně založené transformátory proudu a napětí.

Current transformers and current sensors are devices which are mostly used for current measurement in high voltage systems. This devices transform measured currents to range which are workable for measurement and protection devices. Current transformers have been using for current measurement since electric system was built. Current sensors are using for measurement after applying digital devices in their secondary circuits. Theoretical part includes fourth and fifth chapter. These chapters contain construction analysis and characteristic points for both devices. Practical part is in chapter six. This chapter consists results from laboratory measurement. Results are used for verification with theoretical part of the thesis. Accuracy class in nominal range and progress for measurement error in overcurrent range was verified for tested devices. Conclusion of this thesis comparing properties and summarises results from laboratory measurement.
