Analysis and cooperation of a travel insurance with selected insurance companies on the Czech market

The bachelor's thesis introduces the topic of insurance with focus on travel insurance. The theoretical part describes the division of insurance and also refers about the history. It also includes a comparison of travel insurance offers from several different insurance companies. The practical part uses a questionnaire survey which helps us to better understand what do people demand and prefer in terms of travel insurance. Based on the results of the survey an artificial customer was created. In the last part we searched for particular travel insurance offer that woud best fit to our artificial customer.

Analysis of car insurance offers in Czech Republic

This work deals with analysis of car insurance in Czech Republic. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to explain for what purpose is this insurance determined. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical is focused on explanation of the terms which are used in all of work and which are the most important for clients when they are looking for the best car insurance. This part also shows how is this type of insurance defined in law of our country and some accessories which are related with basic insurance. The practical part is based on comparing many chosen insurance companies. In the first part there is a comparison by Partners company with one vehicle and three different person with choosing the ideal variant. Second part comparing one person with five different cars by Allianz insurance company.

Legal regulation of the position of members of business companies and taxation of their income

The thesis is defining individual income of partners of business companies subject to tax of personal income eventually to other deductions and providing comprehensive overview of these mandatory deductions according to legal regulations valid for year 2010 including some changes which which will take effect from 1st of January. The subject of my thesis is taxation of partners income - tax residents and non-residents to whom derive incomes from business company which is situated in Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter is explained position of individual partners depending on the type of company. In partnerships i.e. co-partnerships, limited partnership and European economic interest grouping, the partners usually participate in business enterprise by their own activities. In capital companies i.e. limited liability companies, joint-stock companies and european companies, the partners are participating through their own property values. In the second chapter is briefly described the tax structure of individual income and its basic elements. Faktory ovlivňující výdaje na dávky nemocenské v ČR

This thesis is dedicated to an analysis of factors influencing the amount of paid sickness benefits in the Czech Republic. In the literature review, potential factors influencing the above mentioned dependent variable are outlined based on scientific articles and publications. Using a regression analysis, all these explanatory variables are verified and factors really influencing the amount of paid sickness benefits in the Czech Republic are identified. These variables are quantified using a method of least squares. In the practical part of the thesis, time series of Expenditures on sickness insurance benefits and Income from insurance and associated payments for the sickness insurance are examined by a qualitative decomposition method. For both these time series, predictions for four upcoming quarters (whole 2017) are created. Based on an analysis of these two time series, a balance of income and expenditures is created and recommendations for the Ministry of Social Affairs are defined. From the results gathered in the practical part, consequences are drawn in the discussion. These serve as a basis for solutions and measures for employers to save labor costs and to achieve an efficient human resource management. All analyses in this thesis are conducted from quarterly data from 2004 till 2016.

Hegedűs, Z. Use of insurance products in SLOVNAFT, a.s. with focus on employees. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university, 2018. The bachelor thesis is focused on assessing of the insurance cover the employees of SLOVNAFT, a.s. There are different types of insurances described in the thesis, either obligatory or optional for the employers in Slovakia. Based on the analysis of insurance cover of the employees in SLOVNAFT, we worked out recomendations for employees as well as for the employer. These recomendations should lead to an overal better situation in the company in terms of insurance cover.

Factors Impacting the Health Insurance Company in the Years 2004-2012 in the Context of the Health Insurance System in the Czech Republic

The main aim of my dissertation Factors influencing the management of health insurance in 2004 2012 in the context of health insurance in The Czech Republic - was to identify and categorize the factors that affect the management of the chosen health insurance in 2004 2012 with the respect to existing system of health insurance. The first assessed year was 2007 because of unavailability of data in 2004 - 2007. My dissertation is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the principles of health insurance, the legal relations of health insurance, the current system of public health insurance and the effects influencing the health insurance balance. The practical part deals with designated health insurance and its organizational structure, its management methods, the income side of the balance sheet, the expediture side of the balance and finally the ratings balance of the specific health insurance. The factors which affect this side of the balance were analysed in detail at the income side. Among these factors were included: trends in the number of policyholders, the development of receivables, the problems of "state policyholders", macroeconomic index and the redistribution system. The expediture balance was mainly focused on the cost of health care and preventive care. In conclusion the balance of one of the health insurance companies was evaluated in the selected years.

This thesis is focused on risk transfer from insurance companies to other institutions -- reisurance companies. The thesis deals with the importance of reinsurance in the system of insurance. The meaning, functions and duties of reinsurance are provided in the introductory part. The thesis then discusses the beginning and history of reinsurance. The work examines the classification of reinsurance according to various criteria including alternative risk transfer and other options of reinsurance relationships. An important part of the work is the analysis of new reinsurance legislation that is included in Insurance Law. In the final part of the thesis is described the reinsurance functioning on the practical aspects in a Life Company and in VIG RE Reinsurance Company which is the first reinsurance company based in Prague. Part of this work treats of the catastrophic events that significantly influenced world's and Czech insurance, including reinsurance.

Comparison of the motor insurance market in the Czech Republic and abroad

This thesis provides a comparison of the insurance market in the Czech Republic with select countries around the world. The main aim of the thesis is to identify differences in motor insurance in ten select countries around the world. The author defines various types of products and their differences, provides a comparison of insurance markets in relation to: legislation and the definition of certain products. In order to provide appropriate coverage, the author uses a method of indexation and absolute price. As a result of this work the reader will be better able to select the best insurance product available on a given market for the customer based on a set of conditions.
