Sensors for Intelligent Home
Danaj, Dávid ; Košař, Vlastimil (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed on the wireless communication of sensors located in an intelligent home. The thesis describes existing commercial solutions and the system developed by us. The MiWi protocol is used for the wireless communication of sensors. Characteristics of the implemented application protocol, indirect communication, joining to a network, restoring settings of a sensor, switching to sleep mode and main activity of sensors are described more in detail.
Driver and Hardware Module of MiWi Protocol for Linux
Hala, Martin ; Kořenek, Jan (referee) ; Novotný, Tomáš (advisor)
The master's thesis is about a communication element - a hardware module, its design and implementation. The communication is to be maintained between a Linux embedded device and the sensors elements, using the MiWi protocol. The task is part of the IoT project, developed at FIT BUT. Furthermore, the paper describes design of a driver for the module, its likely solution, as well as the very implementation. Finally, the obtained experience is discussed in a summary, along the next step options on how to proceed further with the driver development.
Wireless Protocol MiWi
Leška, Jakub ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Košař, Vlastimil (advisor)
Overwiev of actual solutions in routing protocols in wireless sensors networks, description of wireless protocol mimac and its miwi, design of new protocol for sensor network used in inteligent housing
MiWi Protocol Driver for Linux
Wolfert, Richard ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Novotný, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes creating of device driver for Linux. The result driver is able to handle PAN coordinator device for MiWi protocol. User is able to communicate with device using socket network interface. The theoretical part provides fundamentals of operations and creation of new device drivers for Linux kernel. The main parts of this work consist of design, implementation, final testing and evaluation of results
