Device for induction heating with a power of 2,5kW
Krist, Petr ; Vašíček, Adam (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing of an induction heating of small iron parts. This device should be primarily designed for a farrier practice or an artistic blacksmithing. Considering the practice, the referential heated iron part will be a horseshoe. The basis of this device is a power inverter with serial resonant circuit connected to inverter as a load. This thesis contains designing and development of electrical and mechanical parts of whole device. It means control circuits, resonant circuit, box for heated part, etc. At the end of this thesis is realization of the device, electrifying, optimization and testing. During the test the horseshoe was heated close to demanded temperature.
Laboratory heating of MV cables
Vala, Martin ; Lázničková, Ilona (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with options of laboratory heating of high voltage cables. First part of the work is reserved for description of heat as physical phenomenon and quantities connected with the heat. Second part deals with options of temperature measurements of objects in practical use and third part of the work deals with options of cables heating regarding the measurements according the ČSN rules. Practical part of diploma thesis is focused on physical phenomenon description, being under way during measurement using selected methods in individual components and optimization of results for practical measurements.
The thermal calculation of a induction furnace
Hradilová, Irena ; Raček, Jiří (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
This work deals with induction devices, in particular temperature computations of induction devices. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, we give basic definitions of inductive warming and theoretical know ledge of heat induction that are needed to understand the problem of inductive warming. In the second part, we describe the principle of induction devices. We focused on crucible furnace which is described in details. We used this device for thermal computation of induction device. In the last part, we theoretically describe procedure of thermal computation of the most used induction devices, i.e., canal furnace, diathermy induction device, and crucible furnace; the last one is compared with the rest of induction devices from the computation point of view. For the induction crucible furnace, we provide numeric thermal computation at the end.
Optimization of heat treatement for steel beams
Dyčka, Martin ; Foret, Rudolf (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
This thesis deals with heat treatment of pearlitic steel beams with using of induction heating. The aim of this heat treatment is to improve mechanical properties of steel beams. In theoretical part are described pearlitic steels and theory of induction heating. In experimental part of this thesis analysis of current state of technology with its results was made. Numerical model describing current state of technology was assembled. Then this model was used to recommend adjustments in current technology of heat treatment, which leads to enlargement of heat treated depth. Experiments with adjusted parameters were executed on heat treating machine. Analysis of microstructure using LM and EM, measurement of hardness and fractographic analysis were done. The result of adjustments is enlargement of heat treated depth about half compared with current technology.
Additional device for the pushing out billets from inductor
Pešek, Josef ; Klepetko, David (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The master thesis deals different types of additional device for the pushing out billets from inductor. It includes individual machines from different manufacturers induction heating and their comparison. I designed my own solution and created a 3D model according to which a fully functional device was made. By verifying the functionality, a numerical simulation of the dynamic extrusion process was created. Part of the work is drawing documentation.
Design of controllable heating of the spinning head and reheating of fibers with controlled air flow for devices for centrifugal spinning of nanofibers
Janošík, Lukáš ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Čech, Ondřej (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with the design and implementation of the spinning head heating for the fibers manufacturing. The first part of this thesis compares the problems of spinning head heating by means of radiant heat and electromagnetic induction. The next part of the thesis deals with the design and implementation of the selected induction heating of the spinning head together with its partial peripherals. The thesis continues with the design of a controlled air flow through the chambre and design of reheating fibers. In the following part of the thesis, functionality tests and partial measurements are performed on the device. At the end, the measurement results are evaluated and compared.
Induction heating apparatus for artistic blacksmithing purposes
Šmarda, Vladislav ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with the design of induction heating inverter. The main subject is optimalization for blacksmiths. There is described the designing procedure for power components and also designing of control part. Then prototype of 10 kW induction heater was made.
Induction heater converter
Holcman, Marek ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a power converter for induction heating of iron components designed for a power of at least 2.5 kW. The induction furnace forms a series resonant LC circuit. The thesis contains a description and a design of individual parts of the converter, including wiring diagrams and a design of printed circuit boards. At the end of the work are then described the mechanical construction, the course of recovery and testing the operation of the inverter.
Design of a Robotic Cell for Additive Manufacturing of Glass Forms
Záveský, Filip ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis contains description of design of robotic cell, which automates process of glass neck ring welding. Robot arm is used as manipulator of part between entry conveyor, induction heating, automatic welding machine and outgoing palette. Construction process contains of making layout of the cell, design of needed workstations and minimalize risk of harm for human operator. The final construction design is simulated to verify robot reach and find manipulation time.
Portable source for induction heating
Nevřela, Tomáš ; Martiš, Jan (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to realize and test a prototype portable source for induction heating of small parts. The project contains a theoretical basis of resonant circuits and induction heating. The device design is based on simulation results from the FEMM program, with which a focussing coil for induction heating has been designed. The parts of the thesis are the realization of the designed device, its putting into operation and the programming of the control.
