Land use changes conditioned by landsliding in the Moravian Flysch Carpathians
Kirchner, Karel ; Hlavinková, Pavlína
The presented contribution drala with the issue o fland use effects on the development of landslides and with a detailed discussion about feedback, i.g. haw the land use changes under impact of land sliding. The land use changes are characterized on example of model region Mikulůvka/Bystřička/Růžka on six selected sites
Geomorphological research of river channel of Morava river in national reserve Vrapač and its surroundings
Kirchner, Karel ; Hrádek, Mojmír ; Ivan, Antonín ; Máčka, Zdeněk ; Krejčí, M.
Contributon deals with geomorphology of national reserve Vrapač (landscape protected area Litovelské Pomoraví). On the basis of detailed geomorphological mapping, the anastomosing channel pattern was distinguished. Development of fluvial systém was observed by using of historical data (maps, aerial photos) in the period of last 200 years. Attention was devoted to human impact on topography of flood plain, too
Investigations of channel network in landscape protected area Litovelské Pomoraví
Kirchner, Karel ; Máčka, Zdeněk ; Krejčí, M. ; Roštínský, P.
On the basis of detailed geomorphological research, the anastomosing channel pattern was distinguished in the northern part of landscape protected area Litovelské Pomoraví. Two dominant fluvial processes are acting within the floodplain in the present time: - an increasing dynamics and incision of main bedload stream channel, - degradation of the systém of multiple side channels by infiling with fine sediments deposited by flood discharges
The evolution of Bečva river stream channel after the flood of 1997 ů the significance for research and protection
Kirchner, Karel ; Lacina, Jan ; Krejčí, O.
The flood of July 1997 altered the stream channel of middle and downstream reach of Bečva river in a significant way. Lateral as well as depth erosion removed upper layers of floodplain sediments and created new well pronounced two-level channel with variety of other fluvial forms, which have profoundly increased the biodiversity of the floodplain landscape. We focused our attention on apprehension of selected long persisting effects of flood on relief, rock environment and floodplain ecosystems as well as the possibilities of their conservation within the selected areas in the vicinity of Choryně (Vsetín District)
