VARECHOVÁ, Pavla
The aim of this study was to survey the situation in the context of this issue in primary schools in České Budějovice and to make suggestions for possible improvement of cooperation between organizations involved in the system of prevention of socio-pathological phenomena. Primary prevention of socio-pathological phenomena is addressed by the Ministry of Education guideline for the primary prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in children and the youth in schools and educational facilities, ref: 20 006/2007-51. To achieve these objectives, qualitative research with two target groups was conducted. 13 primary schools providing education to pupils aged 6-15 years in České Budejovice, the Pedagogical-psychological counseling center in České Budějovice, the regional educational coordinator of prevention in the South Bohemian Regional Authority in České Budějovice, the drug coordinator of České Budějovice and a private consulting facility in České Budějovice took part in the research. The research was conducted through the technique of semi-conducted interview. The results showed the current state of prevention in České Budějovice. The major positive aspect of the present system of prevention is primarily the fact that primary schools gradually gain independence in implementation of prevention programs. One of shortcomings of the current system of socio-pathological phenomena primary prevention is an inadequate staffing system (under the Ministry of Education in Educational and psychological counseling in schools), poor coordination of primary prevention services, and poor funding. Based on the results, ways to resolve the current situation are proposed. One option is education of all schoolteachers on the issues of prevention of. socio-pathological phenomena. Another option is to establish the Center of primary prevention in the South Bohemia region, which would provide comprehensive assistance to all entities involved in the primary prevention system. Bachelor thesis serves as a source of information about the current system of socio-pathological phenomena prevention in České Budějovice. The idea of the primary prevention center can be used as a possible solution to the current system of socio-pathological phenomena prevention for the South Bohemia region.

PODLENOVÁ, Kateřina
This bachelor´s thesis ?The Objectives and Effectiveness of Primary Tobacco Addiction Prevention within Elementary Schools in České Budějovice? deals with the evaluation of specific primary tobacco addiction prevention in elementary schools in České Budějovice and an analysis of policies used by school prevention methodologist in order to assess the effectiveness of exercised prevention. The primary prevention of social pathological phenomena is conducted according ?Minimal Prevention Scheme?, which each school is obliged to prepare and evaluate in ?The Final Report of Minimal Prevention Scheme Fulfilment?. I employed qualitative research, interviews, structured interviews with open questions, and content analysis of the data of Minimal Prevention Schemes. The research group consists of school prevention methodologist from ten elementary schools (both junior and senior) in České Budějovice. I have suggested five hypotheses based on the research and specialised literature. Hypothesis 1: Effective forms of primary prevention are not being sufficiently deployed in the České Budějovice elementary schools. Hypothesis 2: Primary tobacco addiction prevention is not continual or systematically planned. Hypothesis 3: Parents fail to cooperate with the tobacco preventiv program. Hypothesis 4: Evaluation of primary tobacco addiction prevention is not being carried out in the České Budějovice elementary schools. Hypothesis 5: Primary tobacco addiction prevention in České Budějovice elementary schools is not effective due to the heavy workload of school prevention methodologist and the lack of time to plan primary prevention. In order to improve the effectivaness of primary tobacco addiction prevention I recommend participation in one of the national anti-smoking programmes, improvement of cooperation with parents and a the implementation of school prevention methodologist as an independent position.

The subject of my analysis is Bachelor's degree and follow-up master's degree study. I have chosen only a specific part of the field, which is devoted to preparing students for German language teaching at basic schools. Emphasis is placed on the comparison of offered subjects, thematic composition of subjects and the way of obtaining didactic knowledge and teaching skills.

Teaching mathematics to elementary school with the interactive whiteboard - mathematical word exercise
ŠIPONOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of the offered dissertation is an attempt to create a material for teaching how to solve mathematical word exercises at an elementary school. This document is based on theoretical knowledge. The theoretical part of the dissertation documents the evolution of the mathematics from the antiquity untill these days. Basic information necessary for the development of an interactive textbook is grounded on theoretical findings in interactive boards and word exercises that have been published recently. The educational material was created in the program Activstudio 3 for the boards of the Activboard type and practically tested with the 8th grade students at the Plesivec elementary school. The other aim of this work is to see the response and attitudes of the students toward this kind of classwork, if it can help them to better grasp the word exercises solutions and to provide the teacher a useful tool for their work with an interactive board, since to create such a groundwork for the lessons by themselves can be very demanding on their time needed for the preparation for their lessons.
