Single-family house in Pustiměř
Cupák, Radek ; Jechová, Marie (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a low-energy detached house for four people. The project is divided into two parts. The first part includes the project documentation for building permission. The second part focuses on building services. The documentation includes solutions for the building in terms of fire safety, thermal technology, acoustics and lighting. The family house is located in the village of Pustiměř, Vyškov district. The house is connected to the electrical, water, rainwater and sewage networks. It is a two-story house with a garage built on a gently sloping plot. On the first floor, there is an entrance hall, a walk-in-wardrobe, a living room with a kitchen, a pantry, a bathroom and a utility room. On the second floor, there is a toilet, a bathroom, an office, a study, a bedroom with a walk-in-wardrobe, a children's room, and another children's room with a walk-in-wardrobe. The detached house is built on a reinforced concrete slab, which is insulated by XPS panels insulation. The walls are designed from sand-lime bricks. The insulation is made of a contact insulation system from grey polystyrene combined with basalt wool. The ceiling structure above the first floor is made of a reinforced concrete slab. The roof is a gable roof with nailed trusses. The insulation is made of blown cellulose. Attached to the family house is a garage. It is built on a reinforced concrete slab, insulated with floor polystyrene. The walls are made of aerated concrete blocks. The roof is a flat green roof. Heating is provided by an air-to-water heat pump with an electric backup source. Hot water is stored is a storage tank and disturb through the hydronic underfloor heating system. Air exchange is provided by mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and an electric air heater. Photovoltaic panels with battery storage are located on the roof. Water from paved areas is collected and stored on a storage tank and used for irritation of greenery, excess rainwater is discharged into the rainwater sewer. The project documentation also includes an energy performance certificate classified as A – very efficient.
Air conditioning of the kitchen
Raftopulos, Patrik ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the ventilation system for the functional unit of the kitchen in the hospital eating facility. The theoretical part is focused on methods of limiting the leakage of sensible and bound heat from cooking technologies into the room. In the calculation part, the design of hot air heating of the functional unit is solved. The overall analysis of the building and the division into individual functional units, the calculation of the heat balance of the functional unit, pressure drops, air flows, the design of the piping and the air handling unit are also solved. All elements necessary for the proper functioning of the entire system are listed.
Community centre ventilation
Pokutová, Karolína ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems for a community center. The goal was to create a suitable indoor microclimate for the building by using ventilation unit. The work is divided into three parts. Part one is theoretical section. This part deal with the components of ventilation and air conditioning systems, terminal units and noise in HVAC systems. The second part is calculation section and focuses on thermal balances calculations, airflow calculations, distribution elements, duct sizing, design of ventilation units, noise attenuation calculations and insulation design. The third part comprises the detailed project documention.
Air conditioning for the youth center
Trnka, Daniel ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of air conditioning and refrigeration for youth center. The aim is to design suitable ventilation equipment and a comfortable in-door microclimate in the building according to applicable regulations and standards. The theoretical part deals with air conditioning units and their distribution and description of components..
Indoor environment of pool halls
Halla, Ondřej ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problems of the indoor environment of swimming pool halls. Firstly, it describes issues and principles of designing HVAC system in the areas with high humidity production. Thesis then focuses on various approaches to calculations of evaporation from the water surface and different possibilities of dehumidification including different types of HVAC units. This knowledge was applied to the design of HVAC system for particular assigned building, for which are proposed two different solutions. Thesis includes experimental part, its aim is to analyse one specific critical part of the hall. Based on local surveying and long-term measurements a few possibilities of improvement are suggested.
Civic amenities building
Tesař, Ondřej ; Svoboda, David (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of this Master´s project is the design of the elementary art school in Slavkov u Brna. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with architectural and structural design of the building, the second part with design of selected building services, and the third part with a noise study of the building. The building has two floors and a flat green roof. It is operationally divided into two sections with a common entrance - the art school itself and the concert hall. The first section consists of the office, six classrooms, a room for music theory, a choir room, a storage room, and sanitary facilities. The second section includes the concert hall, gallery, foyer, prep room, and sanitary facilities. The technical equipment of the building is located on the second floor. The building has load-bearing ceramic masonry walls, based on plain concrete foundation strips. The floor and roof structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The partitions design is ceramic masonry units and acoustic plasterboard walls. The facade design combines greenery and ventilated cladding. The design building services include heating with two heat pumps, ventilation and cooling with two air ventilation systems, rainwater management for toilet flushing, artificial lighting, and photovoltaic power plants for the building services. The noise study covers issues of sound insulation of the building structures, reverberation time in selected rooms, and an urban acoustic study. The result is the correct design of the building in terms of acoustic comfort.
Pension ventilation
Šplíchalová, Kateřina ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the explanation of the problems of air conditioning and the design of air conditioning units in a civil engineering building, more precisely in the pension. the work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with theory. It focuses on the principles, systems and types of air conditioning equipment. The second part is focused on the design of air conditioning units in the pension, there are three separate devices with a common drain to the exterior from the air conditioning engine room. The third part deals with project documentation.
Indoor pool ventilation
Hrabová, Kristýna ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor thesis designed ventilation for the pool hall. Hall is divided on four separate working units. The first device is designed as an air-conditioning unit for the changing room. For swimming pool were designed swimming pool air conditioning units with heat pump. Air in the hall with a water slide is adjusted using the forced ventilation unit.
