Hodnocení ekologických a konvenčních systémů chovu masného skotu
NEDOROST, Václav
The ability of cattle to produce meat is primarily determined by the genetic foundation related to the useful type and breed affiliation. Housing technology, environment or nutrition can significantly affect the overall meat production in a given farm. Furthermore, there are often differences in the conventional and ecological method of farming within the evaluation of meat productivity. This study deals with the comparison of both farms, where the data from the performance control for the monitored period 2021 - 2023 are used to compare the results. In both farms, the Aberdeen Angus breed was evaluated, where the birth weight of calves, body weight at the age of 210 days and average daily gain of animals.
Vyhodnocení užitkokvosti vybraného stáda masného skotu
BRATRŠOVSKÁ, Nicola
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out how specific influences affect meat productivity in a selected herd of beef cattle. In the introductory part of the thesis, the concept of meat yield was explained, and then the influences that affect meat yield were discussed. To evaluate the effectiveness of these influences, a herd consisting of beef simmental and blonde d'aquitaine breeds was selected, where 197 pure-blood calves were born between 2019-2021. These calves were involved in performance control and the data from these controls were used in this bachelor thesis. The cooperative breeding this herd was presented in detail and then the data was evaluated. In the evaluation, the weight of the calf at birth, at 120 days and at 210 days was taken into account. These influences also included the sex of the calf and the month of birth. As part of the data assessment, higher average weights at 210 days were found in bulls, and when comparing individual breeds, better results were found in the beef simmental breed.

KLOUČKOVÁ, Karolína
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to assess the performance and reproductive indices in the selected breed. The assessment was carried out on a total of 10 dorper lambs, 5 of which were males and 5 females. Each of the animals was weighed and measured for back muscle height at the performance control, in 2021 at 3 months of lambing age and in 2022 at 4 months of lambing age. When the above traits were evaluated, it was found that the highest values were achieved in the lambs in 2021, when the average weight at 100 days of age was 42,09 kg, the average daily gain over the period was 421 g and the height of the back muscle at 100 days of age was 34,5 mm. When comparing the reproductive indices for the years 2021-2022, it was found that the results in the selected breed for the fertility index and the vigour index were identical, the only difference being in the rearing index, which was 0.02 higher than the national average in the selected breed. In the comparison from the exterior evaluation of the lambs, it was found that better results were achieved in 2021, when all lambs placed in the final class 5.
Vyhodnocení ekonomiky výroby mléka na vybraných farmách dojeného skotu v ČR
Bínová, Alice
The thesis characterizes dairy cattle breeding and milk yield of the most represen-ted dairy and mixed breeds in the Czech Republic and also important factors that in-fluence the economics of milk production. In relation to the economic issues in dairy farms, costs and returns are distinguished. The methodology also characterizes two farms, which made it possible to monitor and compare the economic indicators of milk production, to assess the economic efficiency of the farms and the break-even points for 2022. In compiling the total costs and revenues that were monitored per litre, per feeding day and per cow, the total costs for the agricultural cooperative Belcice were found to be 9,018 CZK per litre per year and 230,548 CZK per feeding day per year, while for Farm B these total costs were 7,969 CZK per litre per year and CZK 203,482 per feeding day per year. The highest cost items were feed and bedding costs, which averaged 44.5 % for both farms, labour costs at 16 % and farm overheads at 14 % of total costs. The results show that the two farms are profitable even without subsidies, despite the noticeable differences in costs and milk selling prices between the two farms.
Vliv vazného ustájení na parametry mléčné užitkovosti dojnic ve vybraném chovu
Skoupý, Roman
The aim of this work was to find out the influence of bonded housing on the parameters of milk productivity of dairy cows in a selected farm. The work took place in one calendar year 2022 from January to December. Among the monitored parameters were fat content (%), protein (%), lactose (%), amount of milk produced (kg), stage of lactation (days) and order of lactation (n). The samples were obtained from our own breeding and evaluated in the Laboratory of Applied Lactology at the Institute of Animal Breeding and Breeding, Faculty of Agriculture, Mendel University in Brno using the Julie C5 Automatic device. A total of 12 samples from 4 cows of two breeds, namely Holstein and Czech Spotted cattle, were processed. The results show that bonded housing has a significant effect on the milk production of a dairy cow. The fat content is influenced by the method of breeding but also the feeding technique and the health status of dairy cows, when the fat content was very different in individual months. The protein content was influenced by the order of lactation, where the higher the lactation, the lower the protein content. Lactose was not affected by any factor and was constant.
Use of insemination in beef cattle herds
JANIŠ, Marek
This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the use of insemination in a selected herd of beef cattle. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis characterizes the concepts related to the topic. It describes the anatomy and physiology of the cow, insemination and methods, genomics and current and future trends in the field of insemination. The practical part interprets and evaluates the results of the analysis, which are based on the cow's passport cards and the record of the performance check.
Reprodukční výkonnost ovcí v ČR
Čudan, František
The aim of this thesis describe how we evaluate fertility and reproduction of sheep in performance testing in Czech republic, include evaluation of new traits of reproduction performance. In evaluation was traits ewe lambing rate, lambs per ewe, lambs per ewe lambing, lambs reared per ewe lambing, as a new trait weighed lambs (all in percents) and additionally lambs growth to one hundred days of life. All reproduction traits and weight of lambs in one hundred days of life have increasing tendency in Czech republic, although they are impacted by year and environment. On the percent of weighed lambs have strongest impact herd production system. The fertility and reproduction performance of sheep in performance testing in Czech republic is on the same level, like in the sheep breeding developed countries.

The aim of the diploma thesis was to analyse reproductive and productive parameters at a particular pig farm participating in the performance testing. The monitoring took place between years 2019 to 2021. The sow reproductive traits included sows of the Czech Large White - CLW (977 litters), CLW x CL (CL = Czech Landrace) (616 litters), Duroc (169 litters), Pietrain (156 litters), 125 litters by boars D x LWSL (Large White - sire line) and 146 litters by boars Pn x LWSL. Higher number of total born (15.6 vs. 15.4 pcs), live-born (14.5 vs. 14.3 pcs) and weaned piglets (13.5 vs. 13.2 pcs) was confirmed within maternal breeds in CLW x CL sows, compared to CLW sows. The highest number of total born, live-born and weaned piglets was confirmed within the paternal breeds after boars D x LWSL (11.2 pcs, 10.3 pcs and 9.6 pcs). The lowest fertility level was found out at the Pietrain breed (10.0 total born, 9.2 live-born and 7.7 weaned piglets). Boars of the CLW (1,448 pcs), Duroc (434 pcs), Pietrain (339 pcs), D x LWOL (368 pcs) and BO x Pn (363 pcs) and gilts of the CLW (3,479 pcs), Duroc (487 pcs) and Pietrain (343 pcs) were analysed in field test. The highest average daily gain from the birth was achieved by boars LWSL x Pn (730 g), the lowest average backfat thickness was achieved by boars D x LWSL (5.2 mm) and the highest lean meat content was achieved by boars Pietrain (62.2%). The best performance traits in the field test were recorded in boars in 2020. The highest value of the average daily gain from the birth was in CLW gilts(659 g) and the lowest average backfat thickness (5.2 mm) and the highest lean meat content (62.5%) were in Pn gilts. The best results of the field test of gilts were reached in 2021.
Analýza vybrané ekologické farmy
Navrátilová, Iva
The aim of this diploma thesis was the analysis of organic farm AgroFyto spol. s.r.o., which deals with dairy cattle breeding and suckler cattle. In an analysis of selected indicators were evaluated for milk production, selected parameters of reproduction and meat production. The results of the system of classification of carcasses of SEUROP cattle were evaluated within the meat yield. The animals were monitored for the period 2014-2017. Values related to dairy yields and dairy reproduction were obtained from performance monitoring for 2015 and 2016. The individual years were divided into four seasons after three months. In this work was evaluated the effect meantime, the time of calving, lactation, breed and season on the amount of milk in the period, as well as the impact on the amount of milk fat and protein content of milk for the year 2015 to 2016. The analysis revealed a difference in the evidence of the effects on milk in the monitored period. Regarding the influence of milk volume on fat and protein content in milk, this effect has been demonstrated only in one of four seasons. In the analysis, the effect of the season on the amount of milk was not statistically proven. Compared to organic farm BEMAGRO a.s and foreign ecofarm, it was found that cattle on dairy farm AgroFyto spol. s.r.o. Better results in the quantity of milk in question over the reference period. Dairy Farmer FARMA ZPZ s.r.o. But they have a better milking. AgroFyto spol. s.r.o. Has a dairy with the lowest protein content in milk and the highest fat content compared to two organic farms. Compared to the overall results of the KU in the Czech Republic, AgroFyto spol. s.r.o. Lower milk yield, but higher fat in milk.
