Statistické zpracovani obrázku plazmatického prouděni pro vizualizace nestabilit
Chumak, Oleksiy
The structure and stability of a thermal plasma jet were studied on the basis of statistical analysis of images of a plasma jet taken by a fast shutter camera. The space distribution of the mean value and the standard deviation of image brightness were evaluated from a sequence of images. The short exposure time ensured imaging of the momentary state of the jet while analysis of a sequence of images provided information about jet fluctuations. Effect of arc current was investigated. Arc power increase led to higher fluctuations of the jet, although it caused increase of the jet length.
Simulink jako nástroj pro vývoj rekonfigurovatelných aplikací
Kovář, Bohumil ; Schier, Jan ; Zemčík, P. ; Herout, A. ; Beran, V.
Our paper focuses on rapid prototyping and configuration tools for an embedded system. It will present novel concept of an image processing architecture based on interconnection of a programmable logical chip (FPGAs) with digital signal processor (DSP). In the paper, we shall outline a configuration tool tailored towards systems combining both DSP and FPGA, based on a configuration/programming scripting language and with a complex library of functions and modules for selected applications in signal and video processing.
Ko-simulace pomocí komunikačního serveru mezi MATLAB/Simulink a FPGA
Bartosinski, Roman ; Kadlec, Jiří
This paper describes our solution for a hardware co-simulation of algorithms in programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) with a communication server out of Matlab. The implemented HW co-simulation with communication server has got many advantages and it allows uniform communication with dierent platforms via various communication interfaces (RS232, Ethernet, USB, etc.).
Pokročilé algoritmy pro ekvalizaci ADSL kanálu
Mazanec, Tomáš
Digital subscriber line modems equalize response of line (channel) to fight with interferences and line dispersion which down the bit-rate of transmission. Main equalization principle is “Channel shortening” which is the base for time domain equalizers (TEQ). Many TEQ algorithms have been already proposed, mainly in theoretical sense. With growth of hardware performance, more complex methods can be applied in practice. Thus a proper simulations and fast implementations are necessary to achieve this. We developed a toolbox which implements some simple and advanced time domain equalization algorithms and simulates ADSL transmission line with reference channels (loops). This paper introduces implementation details and comparison of selected equalization algorithms.
OP – an interactive viewer of seismic signals
Kolář, Petr
We introduce a new interactive viewer of digital seismic signals. The viewer is designated for detailed analysis of records of selected seismic events; numerous numerical tools as well as interactive user friendly graphical controls are available.
