Příprava transgenních rostlin pro efektivní fytoremediaci toluenu a dalších organických polutantů
Nováková, M. ; Macková, M. ; Sylvestre, M. ; Chrastilová, Z. ; Macek, Tomáš
The bacterial gene todC1C2 coding toluene dioxygenase was introduced into plant genome using pGreen vectors and Agrobacterial transformation. The enzyme with wide substrate specificity is improving the biodegradation ability of transformed Nicotiana benthamiana.
Biologické odstranění PCB z kontaminované půdy
Beranová, K. ; Macíček, M. ; Macková, M. ; Macek, Tomáš ; Sylvestre, M.
The effect of different plant species on the presence and activity of PCB-degrading microorganisms in real contaminated soil was followed after 7 months cultivation. The presence of microorganisms containing gene bphA was investigated after direct isolation of DNA from soil. Microorganisms were identified by 16S r DNA gene. The biodiversity was studied using TTGE.
Linkage and radiation hybrid mapping of the porcine GNAS1 gene to chromosome 17
Bechyňová, Renata ; Stratil, Antonín ; Van Poucke, M. ; Bartenschlager, H. ; Peelman, L. J. ; Geldermann, H.
The genomic fragment of the porcine GNAS1 gene was amplified by PCR and comparatively sequenced. We identified two polymorphisms, SNP at site 314 and insertion/deletion of 10 nucleotides. Linkage analysis in the Hohenheim Meishan x Pietran family placed the GNAS1 gene to chromosome 17, between GHRH and SW2427. In radiation hybrid mapping GNAS1 was most significantly linked to marker SW2431 on chromosome 17. This position corresponds to 17q23. The GNAS1 gene is located in the QTL region for some carcass traits.
