This thesis focuses on improving the effectiveness of information systems within the company Ramirent s.r.o., which is a part of the construction machinery rental business. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to this area of study, and continues with an analysis of the current state in the aforementioned company. The key part of this thesis is a design proposal for a new information system that meets the demands of the company, and integrates all currently used information systems into one cohesive system.

This diploma thesis describes the design and creation of an application used to track Project Manager allocation in the company IBM Global Services Delivery Center Czech Republic. The first chapter contains theoretical information needed to understand the content of the thesis, while the second chapter focuses on analyzing the current status of this area. The third chapter then explores the options on how to solve the identified problem, and the best alternative is then chosen and created.
