Design of low-voltage supply and reference block based on the bandgap reference
Zwiener, Jan ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis and evaluation of four different circuit solutions that are used to construct a stable reference voltage. In the literature, these circuits are referred to as bandgap references, and this thesis discusses the principle of their operation. Based on the achieved results, one circuit solution was selected, which forms the basis of the designed device containing eight reference voltages with values (0.8; 1.0; 1.2; 1.5; 1.8; 2.0; 2.5; 3.3) V and one voltage supply, to which one of the reference voltage values can be assigned using a binary code. This device contains sources of four reference currents with values (1; 2; 4; 8) µA.
Design of measuring circuitry of gas sensor for very low limit detection measurement
Zwiener, Jan ; Pytlíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis deals with various types of noise that affect measurement. With a special device called a lock-in amplifier, these interfering signals can be cancelled out so that the desired signal is well below the noise level. This device is described in the thesis and explains the principle of its operation. The thesis also deals with the application of this device to the device allowing the measurement of very small changes in resistance. The device is described in several functional blocks, each block is described in detail, to understand its function in the overall circuit. Part of the thesis is the creation of the proposed device and its practical verification, which is realized by measuring the device.
