Master´s thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency and risk analysis of change of two investment projects conducted in company Lucidum Millennio s. r. o. The thesis is divided into three main parts, which are theory, analysis and proposal. The theoretical part specifies the essential knowledge needed to evaluate the economic efficiency of investment. Analytical part is focused on the evaluation of the financial health of the company (strategic and financial analyses). The proposal is concerned with the introduction of investments, evaluating the economic efficiency of construction of the new production plan and analysing risks related to diesel generator.

In the practical part are processed analyzes leading to decision about economic efficiency of the intended business project.

Method of Fixed Assets Financing under the conditions of risk and uncertainty

Diploma thesis deals with the issue of choosing the right form of financing in the risk and uncertainty conditions - by bank loan or finance leasing. The leasing principle, contemporary condition of the Czech leasing market and the factors influencing the price of the financial leasing are reviewed at first. Then the attention is transfered to bank loans and their diversification. To finish the theorical data I´m featuring the methods of comparing both forms of financing and defining the risks. The aim of diploma thesis is choosing which of two forms of financing is preferable for the enterprise who wants to buy new goods vehicle for its business.

The main goal of bachelor’s thesis is to evaluate the economic effectiveness of investment options in company Internet shop, ltd based on selected methods including formulation of recommendation for implementation. First part contains definitions of concepts and theoretical basis of methods for evaluating effectiveness. In the second part the methods are applied and in the third part is suggested if the company should be realize or not.

NON-INSTITUTIONAL PRIVATE EQUITY AS INVESTMENTS IN START-UPS AND EXPANSION-STAGE ENTERPRISES

This Ph.D. thesis examines characteristics of Business Angel investors in the Czech Republic and their attitudes to evaluation of investment projects. The research is based on primary data obtained by interviewing active Business Angel investors operating in the Czech Republic. The characteristics of Business Angel investors and their attitudes in investment decision making and subsequent monitoring of investments are analysed. Business Angel investors were also asked how they perceive external environment. The topics and questions listed in the interviews result from a systematic literature review. Based on the results of the interviews, an elimination model was developed to capture the preferences of individual Business Angel investors. The model represents a tool supporting entrepreneurs while determining the probability that their project will not be rejected without a deeper examination. Therefore, the model supports entrepreneurs to set the parameters of their projects to increase the likelihood that a Business Angel investor will undergo a detailed due diligence process.
