Title: Regeneration for elite volleyball players Objectives: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to detect the knowledge and awareness of the types of regeneration in volleyball among the clubs of the Czech "UNIQA extraleague". Whether the players comply with these regeneration procedures and to what extent they fulfill these procedures in comparison to findings from the specialized literature. To make it easier for foreign players, the questionnaire was also written in English. We then compared the results from the questionnaire with professional literature. Results: I found out that regeneration is not given as much emphasis as it should be. At the same time, a high number of accidents surfaced. Another finding concerned coaches who provided inaccurate information regarding passive recovery. Regarding passive regeneration according to players, it is of great importance, but more than half do not do anything that could make this regeneration more effective and of better quality.
