Assessment of capacity of selected systems of public infrastructure. Case study Barrandov.

This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of capacities of selected components of public infrastructure of housing estate Barrandov. The first part of the work concerns with literature review in spatial planning and sustainable development, the concept of public infrastructure, and outlines the birth and development of prefabricated housing estates. It elaborates and further describes the functional breakdown and the individual components of public infrastructure. The second part of the thesis is focused on the methodology of capacity assessments including the determination of the investigated components of the public infrastructure. It also describes the method of determining the capacity of the investigated components. The third part of the thesis describes the territory of the case study, which is followed by the assessment of the examined components of the public infrastructure. Based on the results of the assessment the thesis states that the capacity of all the assessed components of the public capacities are in certain respects at the edge of their capacity.
Financial analysis of chosen companies

The diploma thesis deals with elaboration of financial analysis of the business, specialised in production of electroinstalation material. For this reason following companies were chosen: Kopos Kolín Ltd and Spel Ltd. The aim of thesis is, with help of methods and techniques of financial analysis, to evaluate financial situation and economy of both companies during the years 2010-2014. Based on the received results possible measurements for keeping or improving the situation of both companies in future with be suggested. The theoretical part is focused of problems of financial analysis, basic methods and technique according to studying of special literature. The second part deals with application and evaluation of selected parametres in both companies, based on data receivend from accounting document. The thesis conclusion sums up the obtained results. Possible recommendations for keeping or improving of the recent situation of the companies are added.
Influence of landscape type surrounding the roads towards the frequency of traffic accidents - Pelhřimov region

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of landscape character in the surroundings of traffic roads and its influence on the traffic accidents in the municipality with extended jurisdiction of Pelhřimov. ArcGIS software was used to analyze traffic accidents data coming from the records of Police Czech republic in 2013 and the land cover layer. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is information about the given issue. In the practical part there is the characteristic of the given territory in terms of landscape and traffic roads as well as the methodology. In the end there are the results and their evaluation.
Analysis of traffic accidents locations, situated near highway R10 entrances and exits in depending on the character of turning lane

The Purpose of this Bachelor thesis was to find out the traffic accidents occurrence on the road R10. This road was renamed as Highway D10 since the 1st January 2016. Highway R10 begins in Prague and its finish is in Turnov. I focused the traffic accidents, which are related to slip roads and exits in year 2013. For the research I used the geographic information system ArcGIS, where I exactly drew the accidents on the highway. Information about the accidents I received from the sources from Police of the Czech Republic. I selected only the accidents, which are related to the highway´s slip roads and exits. Based on the analyses I found out, how the length of slip roads and exists is to the number of the traffic accidents in these highway sections. Discovered facts could be helpful for projecting of the new slip roads and exits or for adjustments of the existing sections as well.
Analysis of traffic accidents locations, situated near motorway D1 in Central Bohemian Region entrances and exits in depending on the character of turning lane

This thesis is focused on traffic accidents of Czech Republic in year 2013. The theoretical part describes the concepts that relate to the road traffic with the help of laws and standards. Solved problems are traffic accidents, which are situated around motorway´s entrances and exits on the motorway D1 in the Central Bohemian Region. The main objective was to find out, if traffic accidents are influenced by the length of turning lanes or length of connecting lanes. Data of traffic accidents were obtained from the database of the Police of the Czech Republic and the length of dashed lines of turning lanes and connections lanes were measured in ArcGIS. To determine if the accident affected of the character of entrance or exit, entrances and exits were divided according to their type. For analysis were used 73 entrances and exits and 199 traffic accidents. The intention of the analysis was to highlight the fact that the reduction in traffic accidents should be able to contribute not only by adjusting the state of the transport network, but also by adjusting parameters on highways.

The theoretical part of the work is processed by the form of research, and is focused on the assessment of the frequency traffic accidents on the D8 motorway near the motorway exits and entrances. There is described of selected area and explanation of terms related to the issue of transport generally and on the D8 motorway. A special part of the work is processed with the help of the program ArcGIS, and there is a number of analysis and the incidence of traffic accidents.
The Influence of Temperature Fluctuation on the Efficiency of Deammonification Process During Wastewater Treatment

Deammonification is biological process, where ammonia is removed out of the wastewater. Advantages, compared to traditional nitrification/denitrification, consist in saving energy used to aeration and lower requirements to organic substrate. Anammox bacteria, which are realizing the process are very sensitive. Their optimal temperature is about 35 °C to 45 °C. In real life, the treatment of wastewater runs in lower temperature. This thesis is focused on the influence of temperature fluctuation on efficiency of deammonification. For the experiment was used model with CSTR reactor, which deals with adjusted sludge water from anaerobic sludge stabilization. Sludge water from ÚČOV Praha was diluted by tap water and nitrite nitrogen was added. Anammox bacteria were cultivated in form of suspension (activated sludge), which was obtained in anammox reactor from estonian university in Tartu. The experiment lasted 280 days. It was divided into three phases, depending on changing temperature. In the first part, the average temperature was 23,3 °C, in the second part 27,5 °C, and in the third part was setted up the temperature decrease from 27 °C to 16,2 °C. The volume load of Ntotal was between 0,024 and 0,174 kg/(m3.d). With increasing temperature was noticed increasing efficiency of N-amon and N- NO2- removal. The hypothesis, that anammox rector can be succesfully operated in low temperature (18,3 °C), was confirmed. Inhibition caused by temperature was noticed under 16,2 °C. At this point, efficiency of removal N-amon, N-NO2-, N-NO3- and Ntotal decreased. Anammox bacteria approved ability to deal with short-term (1 week) temperature drop. After increase of temperature from 16,2 °C back to 23,9 °C, it was detected high ability to remove nitrogen forms. Average effectivity of Ntotal removal was 45,1 %. Higher efficiency was reached of N-amon, it was 72,0 %. During the experiment was removed 88,9 % N-NO2-. Because of the collected results, we can say, the annamox reactor can be sucessfully run in lower temperatures around 16,2 °C, if inhibition caused by temperature is short-term.
Risk Management in Selected Company

The thesis is focused on problematic of risk management process. This topic is frequently ignored in number of firms in Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the system of risk management based on analyzing in a company of AWIGO s.r.o. and in case of deficiencies propose own solution. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the processing of literature research from the technical literature, summarizes the basic concepts and then explains the process of analysis and risk management in companies and other organizations. The practical part analyzes the specific company. In the company ran an interview with three respondents. The interview outlined the current status of the company's risk management. For the evaluation of the real state of risk management was used an internal documents dealing with risk management. After analyzing the status of the proposed solution containing the identification of the fundamental risks for the areas in which the company is engaged. Individual identified risks are assessed according to established criteria set out on my own experiences and observations from the position of temporary worker and consultations with experts in the area of company business. In conclusion of this thesis are given evaluations and recommendations based on previous analysis of risk management in the company. The main proposal is to start using risk management and appropriately adjust the responsibilities and duties within the company.
