Slang of futsal

Slang as an independent part of national language is recognized as a non-literary layer of particular denominations which are carried out in everyday most often unofficial language interaction of people connected through the same working environment or the same sphere of interests. This graduation thesis focuses on futsal slang in the nature of a nonstructural language form which is distinguished by nonliterariness, expressivity, synonymity, language playfulness, economicity etc. The First, theoretical part presents different slang theories in approach of several leading Czech linguists; second part focuses on single slang aspects. Third part considers slang names formation, to be more schematic general principles of formation are completed with examples from collected material. Forth part gives lexical and phonetic-level analysis on particular futsal environment and slang used in it whereas nicknames of members of surveyed social group are its integral part. Final part of this paper represents futsal slang dictionary.
