Formative evaluation and its use in music pedagogical practice at the first stage of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with formative evaluation in music lessons at the first stage of elementary schools. The theoretical part defines the concept of evaluation of pupils at the first stage of elementary schools and various types of evaluation. Further deals with music psychology, musical abilities and skills. One chapter is devoted to the analysis of the Rámcový vzdělavací program základního vzděláván in terms of the required outcomes in music education. The theoretical part is concluded by the definition of formative evaluation and evaluation in music education. The practical part of the work consists of a questionnaire examining formative evaluation in music education at the first stage of elementary schools. The questionnaire finds out in what form the formative evaluation is performed and how often. Whether schools use it for evaluation in music education and how their formative evaluation corresponds to the outputs of the RVP ZV in music education.
