In this bachelor's thesis the author proposes an optimized alternative of joint assessment. The author concentrates, in the first place, at the joint assessment as such. The first part is purely theoretical, followed by a model situation demonstrated on a family with children. The final part includes an evaluation of what options can be used in the previous model situation. In the conclusion the author comments also on the current public finance and tax reform in relation to possible end to joint assessment.

The thesis is focused on creating a business plan for establishing businesses in the food industry. The company is engaged in domestic production and sales of salty and sweet pastries. The main activity is production-filled turnovers. Supplementary assortment consists of wedding cakes, Christmas cookies and small cakes. Products are designed for daily sales in the company store, but especially at celebrations and other special occasions. Business plan based on the characteristics of general and occupational environment, market analysis and company internal factors. After reviewing the proposal, marketing strategy and financial characteristics of the plan appears to be successful and therefore feasible.

This diploma thesis is concerned with teaching grammar in textbooks of English for lower secondary schools. The aim of the work is a comparison of three sets of textbooks which are used at primary schools from viewpoint of presentation and practice of grammar. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes grammar teaching in process of learning foreign languages in general and basic approaches to English grammar teaching. The practical part of the diploma thesis describes and compares the way of presentation in three textbooks. It also describes the way of practice and types of exercises. The thesis also deals with grammatical syllabus of textbooks.
