Development of tactile perception in blind children of preschool age

The bachelor's thesis addresses the topic of developing tactile perception in preschool-aged children who are visually impaired. Tactile perception is a key factor for individuals with visual impairments, especially for those who are blind, as it facilitates a more manageable and meaningful life. People with visual impairments rely on tactile perception (as well as other sensory perceptions). These individuals focus primarily on individual details, which they gradually connect to form an overall picture of a given object. The thesis includes basic theories on visual impairment, tactile perception, and typhlography. The subsequent sections focus on the development of tactile perception, stimulation, thinking, creativity, and imagination in preschool-aged children with visual impairments, as well as the importance of developing tactile perception in these children. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, with data collected through semi-structured interviews and observations. The study involved children with visual impairments and their educators from the Jaroslav Ježek Kindergarten. Typology of domestic violence events, their motivation and conditions in the so-called coronavirus era

The theoretical part of the thesis explains the concept of domestic violence, its manifestations, the characteristics of perpetrators and victims, and legal protection within the Czech legislation. This part is important for a better understanding of the whole issue and for better orientation in this area. The main objective of the thesis is to assess the changes in the functioning of helping organizations in the České Budějovice during the covid-19 pandemic compared to the standard state and any disruption of the usual course of action in providing assistance during the pandemic measures. Emphasis is placed on determining the impact of quarantine on partnerships and family relationships during a period of increased mental stress. The main goal is also to determine whether there has been an escalation or a decrease in domestic violence during this time. The work will involve analyzing data obtained from intervention centers in the České Budějovice, which will provide important information about the situation regarding domestic violence during the pandemic. The results of this work will serve to improve understanding of this issue and improve support for victims of domestic violence. It is necessary to ensure that all necessary resources and support are available for domestic violence victims. This work can contribute to greater awareness of this issue and improve conditions for those affected by it.
Verification of the Hofstede´s Dimension on the Example of Vietnamese Culture

Vietnamese are the third largest minority in the Czech Republic. Most of the inhabitants meet with its members on a daily basis. Awareness of their culture is, however, very low. The opportunity to learn more about foreign cultures is a variety of cultural researches, including the Cultural Dimension of Geert Hofstede. They were, however, created predominantly in the 1980s and 1990s. That is why this Diploma thesis aims to verify their validity and on the example of Vietnamese culture. In addition, two groups of respondents are compared - Vietnamese living in Vietnam and Vietnamese living in the Czech Republic. The aim is to verify whether a long-term stay in a foreign environment influences the culture.
Specifics and preferred marketing communication tools of chosen segment

In this age of globalization and modern technology potencial customers have become more resistant to different marketing practices and they act more rationally. Therefore it is more difficult to attract their attention and gain a competitive advantage. One possible option for companies is to extend their client base with a new target group. Such a group can be represented for example by the LGBT community. It is a common in abroad to work with these sexual minorities. This theses should show whether something like this is possible also in the Czech Republic or not. The aim of this theses is to compare the purchasing power of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals with heterosexuals and to identify their approach to advertising aimed at LGBT community and their preferred marketing tools.
Analysis of budget management of the township Škvorec, Prague - east, in the years 2009 – 2011

The Bachelor paper deals with issues of managing territorial self-governing units. The first part of the paper contains the main characteristics of villages and describes their governance. The second part considers an analysis of the management decisions of the township of Škvorec, which is focused on a report which evaluated the budget implementation conducted in three consecutive years. The goal of the bachelor paper is the evaluation of a report on the economic decisions of Skvorec, which concluded that because of the small amount of funds available to the township of Škvorec, all analyzed years were affected by one major investment item, being the building of a sewage treatment plant.
