Economic analysis of non-profit organization

The goal of the thesis is to provide an economic analysis of Klubíčko Beroun, o.p.s. To be successful, a nongovernmental organizations have to plan with a good strategy and analyze both outer and inner environments. The NGOs receive finances mostly from donors and have to be responsible for using them efficiently. Therefore, NGOs should not undervalue the economic aspect of their activities and should pay attention to the financial indicators. In my work, I focus on the analysis of the strategy and on the financial analysis. The thesis consists of two parts: the theoretical-methodological part, and the analytical part. In the first part, the basic theoretical apparatus is introduced, and it is consequently used in the second part. The results of the analysis of the strategy and the financial analysis serve as a basis for the SWOT analysis and for the formulation of the strategy for Klubíčko Beroun, o.p.s.
The Assessment of the Benefits of the Investment in the Specialized Software EASY

The goal of this work is to assess the benefits of the investment in the software EASY. Seen from the financial point of view, the base for the assessment of the benefit consists in efficiency of the acquisition. The efficiency is calculated according to the method of the payback period and the indicator of the profitability of the capital. The second part of the work contains an assessment of the benefit of the acquisition of the software EASY from the operating point of view. It is divided in four analyses that assess different aspects of the benefit. The conclusion of the work involves the overall assessment of the investment and a recommendation regarding the investment in another program license.
