Presented graduation theses concern proposition of competitive strategy in paticular company active in field of IT. The analytical part describes actual condition of the company on the market and its competitors, as well as internal processes and external environment. The theoretical part defines abstract conclusion of this graduation theses. Finally the application part includes proposals of solutions how to succeed in competitive fight by means of given targets and taking the competitive advantage.

The Socs3 gene is important for the postimplantation development of mouse embryos, but not much is known about its effect on preimplantation development. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Socs3 gene in preimplantation development of mouse embryos, specifically on proliferation at E3.5 timepoint, at the time of seggregation of cell lineages trofoectoderm and inner cell mass.
Works of Songs by J. B. Foerster: The Six Songs Based on Puskin's Poems Op. 161

The song genre constitutes a significant part of J. B. Foertser's work (around 350 songs). In the Czech musical context, Foerster is along with Vítězslav Novák considered a founder of modern Czech song. Despite its unquestionable significance, Foerster's song output remains an unexplored area in musicology. The aim of this diploma thesis is to contribute to the body of scholarship devoted to Foerster by focusing on this area of his work, which has not received adequate critical attention. The main part of the thesis consists of detailed musical-textual analyses of the song cycle Šest písní na básně Puškinovy op. 161 (1937). Through the analyses, the thesis examines the composer's approach to the setting texts to music and points out the qualities of his work. The discussion gives an overview of Foerster's song output and outlines the main critical concerns in this area of his work. The last but one chapter of the thesis compares opus 161 with selected Foerster's song cycles from his previous work periods and an attempt is made to put the opus into the context of the composer's song output as a whole. In the conclusion, opus 161 is discussed in the context of the Czech and, more generally, European song productions.

Adaptation of new Employees in a selected Organization as an Instrument to Reduce Fluctuations

The diploma thesis is concentrated on connections between adaptation and staff tur-nover in particular organization. Especially it is about the finding whether the increased given notices in organization are based on adaptation or it is caused by other reasons. In the analysed company the qustionnaire was spred among the current workers with the intent to find out, whether the staff turnover of technical workers is influenced in the first place by bad adaptation or not. The survey results confirmed that there exist other reasons above all. The adaptation can be perceived as a suitable instrument for fluctuation decrease but under condition the adaptation is prepared properly.
