Design of layered, (C,N,S)-based donor-acceptor materials
Kochergin, Yaroslav ; Bojdys, Michael Janus (advisor) ; Starý, Ivo (referee) ; Thomas, Arne (referee)
Since 2016 there are world-wide more mobile phone contracts than people on the planet, and in all these devices critical raw materials (CRMs) are incorporated.[1] For instance, commonly used silicon-based transistors are limited in their chemical modularity. Inorganic materials for solar cells and photocatalysis suffer from critical raw elements content, low apparent quantum efficiencies and photodegradation. Hence, considerable research interest in recent years is focused on development of new high-performance devices for optical and electronic applications that avoid CRMs entirely. To address all these problems materials chemists are exploring for new pathways towards making more sustainable and reliable materials. In that respect, porous organic π- conjugated polymers (POPs) are among the most promising candidates and have gained tremendous attention in materials research over the last decade, especially in the fields of photocatalysis, opto- and electrochemical sensorics, and microelectronics. Synthetic diversity, chemical and physical stability, as well as comparatively low production costs and scalability enable POPs to overcome the drawbacks of inorganic materials. Moreover, the absence of rare earth elements in the purely organic structure of POPs makes these materials more environmentally...
Maranatha: the non-profit organization and marketing
Thomas, Anna ; Hucková, Barbara (advisor) ; Malcová, Zuzana (referee)
This Bachelors Thesis is concentrated on the specifics of marketing communications of a Christian non-profit organization. The objective for this Thesis is to grasp the effectiveness of the used communication tools. The theoretical section maps out the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic, describes the current legal platforms for non-profit organizations, and takes into consideration the new legal adjustments. Then it defines marketing terminology, the forms of communication used by non-profit organizations, and the usability of web pages. The applied section brings forth the Christian organization Maranatha, a marketing mix of two of the companies chosen projects making a comparison of the communication tools with the fundraising project of the humanitarian organization ADRA. The conclusion includes an evaluation of the communication tools used, including the web page, and suggestions for improvement.

Arranged every 5 years at the initiative of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Institute of Czech Literature, the congress brought together some 150 researchers this year. The presented set of studies primarily attempts not merely to repeat other discussions on the subject of women (or men) in literature, but with the aid of gender analysis and critical interpretation to more systematically consider the literary text as a space for subject self‑comprehension and the formation of gender(ed) identities, as well as to comment on the opportunities, dilemmas and debts of Czech literary research in the context of gender thought. This collection thus offers a broad range of theoretical and thematic approaches, from a critical reading of the canon, gynocriticism and the archeology of women’s literary tradition through cross‑dressing in National Revival drama, queer reading of the socialist realist novel, the gender evaluation of contemporary Czech literature and many other topics.
