How do women experience the time of their maternity leave?

The diploma thesis, based on qualitative research conducted through unstructured individual interviews, describes the way mothers experience their time on maternity leave. The theoretical part contains a discussion of time and free time. The practical part is dedicated to important topics arising from the interviews, such as the father's position in the family, comparing the care of younger and older children, the mother's free time, household duties and child support.

Self-evaluation of an After-School English Program

The bachelor thesis deals with the specific features of English language teaching in leasure education of older school age pupils in connection with formal teaching. The theoretical part contains a description of particular approaches to teaching English, defines free time, education out of classes, interest, leisure education and requirements for leisure education. The practical part is devoted to the project of an English leisure course for pupils of the 5th year of elementary school in Zliv. This particular example illustrates the specifics, which are discussed in the theoretical part.

Protection of the environment in Antarctica

73 ENGLISH SUMMARY Environmental Protection in Anarctica The main goal of my thesis is to describe and explain the legal structure and guaranteed environmental protection of the last continent. I want to deal with the very special legal system that governs Antarctica and is possible only because of the consensus of states that declared their territotial claims to this continent. My paper is devided into three main parts, namely, Introduction to Antarctica, The Antarctic Treaty System, The Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty, and The Czech Republic and the Antarctica. 1. Introduction to Antarctica I devoted the first part of my thesis to introducing the last continent and its special features. I mentioned the evolution of the continent, the first men who explored Antarctica, its climate, fauna and flora in the area covered by the Antarctic Treaty. I also included tourism and the growing number of visitors to Antarctica every year. 2. Antarctic Treaty System The roots of the special legal regime and the protection of the Antarctic environment are based on the Antarctic Treaty concluded in Washington, DC, in 1959. Thesis summarizes the background and importance of public involvement and methods of this kind of planning. The aim is the application of relevant public cooperation on the selected study area Blansko Nad Čertovkou. Based on the suggestions and ideas a proposal is made while respecting the interests of all the stakeholders.

Obtaining grants for community development in concrete conditions of the municipality Stolany

The bachelor thesis provides an overview of obtaining grants in the public sector, focusing on specific municipality. The first part of the thesis defines key terms related to the endowment problems. The second part deals with accounting for transfers in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic. The final part describes the procedure for allocating grants from obtaining information on the titles offered through the particular points of grant application for data checking. It includes an analysis of grants allocated to the village in 2008 - 2010.
