Rekonstrukce zahradního domu v Brně – Bystrci
Smutný, Michal
The thesis deals with the reconstruction of the garden house in the sloping and off-road terrain in Brno - Bystrc. The core idea is to keep the original building and add new parts to it. Two layout plans are worked out in detail. The first one maintains the character of a single-storey building, the other one suggests another floor built over the entire construction so as not to burden the existent structure of the house or its foundations. Replacing the external cladding of the facade and minor modifications within the kitchen in the original house are also suggested. The style and the age of the contemporary interior have been taken into consideration. Since the vacation property is situated in the difficult terrain, the material will have to be transported without heavy machinery. Therefore, wood is used as the main building material or it is combined with common masonry materials.
Handling in adults physiotherapy
Smutný, Michal ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
The thesis Handling In Adults Physiotherapy summarizes the knowledge of respiratory handling in application on adult patients. Part of the thesis also covers the relationship between body position and respiratory motor control. Experimental part consists of a clinical study with 10 COPD patients. The patients were treated in 3 positions by respiratory handling therapy. The result demonstrates a significant change in blood saturation after the therapy in position on a side. It also proves appropriateness of the side position in comparison with sitting. Keywords respiratory handling, contact-stimulating physiotherapy, respiratory physiotherapy, oxymetry, NIRS
Thermogenesis in relation to body exercise
Smutný, Michal ; Radvanský, Jiří (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
Thermogenesis is an essential component of human body energy expenditure. It is a part of all metabolic processes. Physical exertion poses a challenge to the thermoregulatory mechanisms by increase of metabolic heat production. The ability of compensation increasing body core temperature (Tc) can be observed by measuring body temperature. Body core temperature measurement can help trainers and doctors to prevent injuries and performance lost. This review provides the reader with the view on the current methods used for measuring increasing Tc during physical aktivity. Also discuss about the human thermoregulation and it's observing by measuring body temperature. The aim of this work is also to describe influence of the technologies and development on the approach in body core temperature measurement.
Návrh dřevostavby dvougeneračního rodinného domu
Smutný, Michal
The thesis addresses performance of two-generation family house, which can be designed in four variants. They are distinguished in particular by different dispositions of the second and partly the first floor. With little differences is maintained the same outward from the exterior. There is described using of different materials for the walls of the building. In the house are combining walls of brick blocks and timber frame construction filled with insulation. Equally important question is the connection of the timber part to a part of brick blocks and related two different modular coordination. Finally the thesis focuses on the assessment of both types of wall in terms of heat transfer coefficient and an aproximate valuation of building with using uniform classification of buildings.
