Design of reinforced tank
Štramberský, Martin ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The matter of this diploma thesis is a static storage tank for petroleum substances, the study of a solution for appropriate shape of shell and its effort to dihedral for roofing, and the study of effect of the storage of inner roofs walls of the tank to the size of the internal forces. The internal walls are carried out by the method of finite elements in the engineering program Scia Engineering 2013 and on the basis of it, designing of the framing sections of the tank. There is a calculation part of the lower horizontal bias wreaths of the shell and internal supporting wall. All the components are assessed on the 1st limit state of the load-bearing capacity and the 2nd limit state of the application (emergence cracks, limiting voltage in the concrete and a prestressing steel). The existing external wall is assessed only on the marginal status load of carrying capacity. The part of diploma thesis is also drawing documentation, accompanying report and technical report. The goal of the diploma thesis was to design the tank without an occurrence of the cracks in the concrete so as the vertical wall was prestressing only in the horizontal direction and the optimal proposal roof tanks as an addition.
Design of structure for football pitch
Popovič, Tomáš ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the static review of structure for a football pitch. It is crosswise prestressed reinforced sliding plate with variable cross section. Assessment of the elements was done according to limit states. Internal forces from the load effects were calculated using the SW SciaEngineer 2015.1. The elements were assessed by SW Idea StatiCa 6. The main outputs of this static calculation are drawings of the shape and drawings of the reinforcement.
Cast-in-place tank of sewage plant
Matušík, Petr ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of diploma thesis is to design a cast-in-place tank of sewage plant. The tank has circular shape without ceiling slab and will be completely covered in by soil on sides. The tank is a simple construction with complex relation of foundation. It means the construction will be founded according to second geotechnical category. The tank has to be designed as waterproof construction, which is reached by making white tank system. Calculation was made according to ultimate limit state and limit crack width was assessed according to European standards.
Continues concrete bridge structure on the expressway R2
Horut, Jakub ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of master thesis is expressway R2 in Slovakia through a valley. Height of the construction is limited by a railway line and a local road. From two designed variants was chosen one and futher examined. The span lenght of bridge fields is 24,5 +5 x 30+24,5m. The structure was designed according to ultimate and serviceability limite states and construction stages were considered in model. In master thesis was processed structural design report, drawnings, visualization and engineering report.
Cable-stayed pedestrian bridge over the river
Ilčík, Jakub ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this masters thesis is a design of a suspended pedestrian bridge over a watercourse. There are two variants designed, one of which is selected for static analysis. The chosen variant is a suspended pedestrian bridge with an inclined „A“ shaped pylon situated on one bank and deck made of prefabricated segments. The cross-section is designet to allow the transfer of both pedestrian and bycicle traffic. Thesis contains structural design of construction modeled in SCIA Engineer and checked in IDEA Statica. Design and assessment are acordign to the current European standarts.
Arch footbridge over the Bečva River
Matěják, Jan ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the design of a footbridge over the Bečva river in Vsetín. Three studies of possible designs have been prepared, two of which are further elaborated. The first variant is studying a footbridge supported by an outwardly inclined arch supporting the footbridge from one side. The second variant is supported by outwardly inclined steel arches on both sides. This option is further expanded in the form of a structural calculations, drawings and the footbridge is also assessed in terms of structural dynamics.
design of higway bridge accross Dolansky creek
Šedrla, Jakub ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
My thesis is focused on a design and comparism of the highway bridge across Dolansky creek. The bridge is built by balanced cantilever method. The common span length is 110metres. The bridge is post-tensioned concrete structure. The static model is made of beams. The static analysis during lifespan of bridge is made by Time discretization analysis . The design of reinforcement is made for longitudinal section and cross section.
Bridging reservoir
Kučerka, Ján ; Sliwka, Pavel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of the supporting structure of a road bridge over a reservoir. Two variants of bridging were processed. The selected variant is a three span continuous beam. It is made of box girder cross section with a variable height. The structure has a total length of 156,8 m and is built using balanced cantilever method. The bridge is designed and assessed according to the limit states for temporary and permanent design situations. Structural analysis, drawing documentation and visualization of the bridge is part of the work.
