Title: The inspiration of Richard Rohr for pastoral care in our country This diploma work deals the movement of Christian men (men's movement) in the Czech Republic. Development and many activity forms of this movement are bind with influence of American Franciscan Richard Rohr, especially with his thoughts and praxis in male spirituality. In the first chapter I pay special attention to the specific problems of men's life in the Church and in the society. The second chapter deals with Richard Rohr. Here I present his thoughts about the integral (spiritual and mental) adolescence of a man and methods of their implementation in real life. The third chapter describes the formation and development process of men's movement and it's activities. It also analyzes the forms of cooperation with R. Rohr and his influence on that process. In the fourth chapter I appraise men's movement from the two points of view: the common requirements of pastoral care and the psychological preconditions of man's wholesome development. The conclusion of this work confirms contribution of the Christian men's movement to the spiritual develop of men which means contribution also to the pastoral care in our country.
