Rights of a child under the competence of bodies responsible for social and legal protection of children

70 Resumé In my thesis named " Rights of a child within the scope of the social-legal child protection authorities" I tried to focus on the activity of different entities relating to the social-legal protection of children. I have chosen this theme because I think this problem is very important and each advanced society should protect and take care of children as they can't take care of themselves. The thesis provides an initial introduction to the statutory regulations relating to the social-legal protection of children, which are primarily set out in Act No. 359/1999 Sb., on social-legal protection of children. In the present work I offer a brief overview of the most important child protection institutes, with focusing on the specific activity of the public authorities and the private entities operating in this area. My thesis is conceptually devided into seven, logically linked chapters in which I am trying to demonstrate the protection of children. In the first chapter there is a brief overview of the historical evolution of the social-legal protection of children, then, in the second chapter I am mentioning the most important law sources relating to the delineated issue. Analysis of the human resource management in the company affected by the economic crisis

The main topic of this master thesis is a company impacted by the current economic crisis and the role of the human resource management within the crisis. The thesis firstly provides theoretical basis, defines terms and explains associations. It focuses on the company and its goals, then on the economic cycle, recession and crisis and afterwards dedicates to the human resource management and human resource activities including the approach and procedures that are typical for the time of crisis. Then the focus is on the current economic crisis and its origin in the USA, impacts on the Slovak Republic where the analyzed company is located. Afterwards the thesis provides an introduction of the analyzed company and describes and analyzes the human resource management and hr activities in this company. The final part is dedicated to the complex evaluation of the hr area in this firm and of the approach and changes that were implemented as a reaction to the situation caused by the crisis. The thesis also suggests and recommends some steps and changes, that could help the company improve its situation.

Práca sa venuje analýze personálnych činností v podniku Nexis Fibers a.s.. V teoretickej časti sú formulované teoretické východiska. Na túto časť logicky navazuje praktická časť, obsahujúca charakteristiku daného podniku a popis personálnych činností v tomto podniku. Cieľom práce je zanalyzovať a zhodnotiť situáciu v oblasti personálnej práce v tomto podniku a navrhnúť opatrenia na zefektívnenie systému.
