Economic Aspects of Circular Economics in a Company
SOVOVÁ, Kristýna
The thesis deals with economic aspects of the circular economy in selected business entities. The aim of the thesis is to describe the structure of financial reporting of in terms of Czech Accounting Legislation (CAL) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The possibilities and methods of evaluating the economy of the entities the CAL and IFRS. These possibilities and methods are then applied in the second part of the master thesis for selected subjects that keep accounts according to CAL and IFRS and also operate in the field of circular economics. The indicators, which are set in the first part of the thesis, are analyzed in terms of CAL and IFRS. The thesis evaluates three companies that account under CAL and three companies under IFRS. The analysis of stock indicators, the analysis of ratios, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and spider analyzes were chosen for the evaluation of selected companies. Within the spider analysis, companies accouring to CAL as a whole and also companies accourding to IFRS are evaluated. The output of this master thesis is an evaluation of the financial situation of companies within IFRS and CAL that deal with the circular economy and an evaluation of whether different reporting approaches have an impact on the financial situation of the company.
Competitiveness based on the Internet of Things
SOVOVÁ, Kristýna
This Bachelor's thesis focuses on a new phenomenon, which is Internet of Things and its competitiveness in various fields, for instance health care, smart cities, smart homes etc. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the possibilities and use of IoT, its commercial use and the assessment of strong and weak points of this technology. The first part of the thesis focuses on Industry 4.0 and competitiveness, as well as Internet of Things, its history and relevant risks. The second part deals with the application of IoT in various areas, for instance industrial or consumer's IoT. The technology also focuses on European countries when it comes to commercial use. There will be an assessment of strong and weak points of this technology. The last part uses AHP method to analyze competitive advantage in four sectors, along with other methods, such as return on investments, net present value etc.
Selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry, SIFT-MS
Sovová, Kristýna ; Španěl, Patrik (advisor) ; Glosík, Juraj (referee) ; Matejčík, Štefan (referee)
This thesis describes research that has been carried out during the years 2009-2013 as a part of my PhD project related to the method of selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry (SIFT-MS) and its application in interdisciplinary areas of research. SIFT-MS is a method that allows accurate quantification of trace gases and vapours presented in humid air with the focus on human breath; without any sample preparation and in real time. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part reviews the history of mass spectrometry as a background for the quantitative analytical methods as PTR-MS and SIFT-MS. The second part discusses the detailed history of development of SIFT-MS, starting from principles of selected ion flow tube (SIFT) technique that has been used for study of ion-molecule reactions in the gas phase and forms the basis of SIFT-MS. The next part discusses volatile organic compounds of different biological origin: bacterial, plant and human breath metabolites that can be analyzed in real time using SIFT-MS. The main part "Results and Discussion" is divided into several subsections that serve as commentaries to the enclosed research papers published in peer reviewed journals. The first is a detailed step by step overview of the kinetics of ion molecule reactions which is the basis of...
