The Impact of the Sharing Economy on Residential Prices in Prague

This thesis employs a hedonic regression to measure the impact of Airbnb, the digital platform for short term rentals, on residential prices in Prague. The model is based on the unique transaction dataset of all apartment sales from the first quarter of 2014 to the third quarter of 2018 in Prague. Also, Airbnb listings dataset is used and other datasets containing Prague city data enabling involvement of the property specifications and several neighborhood characteristics influencing the sale price in the model. The main variable of interest included in the regression is Airbnb activity, proxied by the number of Airbnb listings within 300 m of the property at the time of the sale. The results show that a 1% increase in Airbnb activity leads to a 0.0423% increase in sale prices. Moreover, in the city center, the estimated impact is almost twice as high, a 1% increase in Airbnb activity leads to a 0.0816% increase in sale prices. The third hypothesis tested in this thesis shows that the impact of Airbnb has increased in 2017 and 2018. All the estimated results slightly vary, depending on the proxy for Airbnb activity. Nevertheless, estimates in all regressions are statistically significant.

Chosen Activities Relating to Tax Administration The subject-matter of this thesis is legislation of activities relating to tax administration, specifically mostly tax inspection and procedure to remove doubt. On 1st January 2011 the tax code took legal effect and it regulates these activities in more details than it was in the administration of taxes act. The goal of this diploma thesis was to describe and analyze current legislation of these institutes, to mention the reasons of creation of this regulation, to point out the gaps which appear in tax code and to suggest their possible solutions. This thesis also deals with jurisprudence, both older but still usable and newer gradually occurring jurisprudence regarding new tax code. The first chapter deals with the tax administration in general. It describes the historical development of tax administration, focuses on the scope and purpose of the tax administration and then analyzes fundamental principles of tax administration. The tax administrator and persons participating in tax procedure have to respect these principles during activities relating to tax administration, too. Interactive Table in Czech Language Teaching at Elementary School

The main aim of my thesis is to mediate information about interactive tables in the Czech language teaching at elementary schools and elaboration of the methodical support for teaching. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part, which includes the first three chapters, and the practical part which has two chapters. In the theoretical part the author first introduces readers with interactivity, technical and historical development of the tables and their use in teaching. Second chapter brings knowledge about teaching methods with the use of interactive tables, the requirements on teachers, and the positive and negative advantages of the use of the tables based on the teachers and the students view. The third chapter represents main resources of teaching materials. The practical part is based on the creation of the methodical support for teaching, which provides detailed instructions for working with the SMART Table. The subject of the fourth chapter is working with the SMART table, adjustment of the table and the work with activities. Fifth chapter will introduce the computer program SMART Table Toolkit, his installation, adjustment, adjustment of activities and their use in teaching.

Organization of the neonatal transport servis from the view of nurses

Even though it has been managed to concentrate deliveries of premature infants to the perinatal centres thanks to the ?in utero? (before-delivery) transports in recent years, there are still a certain number of newborn infants who are born outside the centres and, thus, it is required to transport them to the specialized departments. The transport of a newborn infant is characterized with special therapeutic procedures and it requires different equipment for providing intensive or resuscitation care and it is provided by transport service for newborn infants that is an integral part of the regional system of the differentiated care of newborn infants. The objective of the diploma thesis is: Objective 1: To characterize current provision of neonatal transport services. Objective 2: To map the role of nursing staff when providing neonatal transport service. Objective 3: To find out if nurses deliver care by nursing process when providing neonatal transport service. A hypothesis and research questions were defined on the basis of these results. Hypothesis 1: Presence of a nurse when providing neonatal transport service is important. Research question 1: What is the role of a nurse when providing neonatal transport service? Research question 2: How is the nursing process applied when providing neonatal transport service? The investigation proved the hypothesis and the research questions were answered. The goal of the thesis was met. The standard ?Nursing Care of Newborn Infants during Transport? is the result of the diploma thesis.
