Competence model as a tool for effective corporate education

The thesis aims to characterize the importance of the application of the competency model and competency-based management in an organizational setting as part of the evaluation process and as a basic and indispensable tool for the management of continuing professional education. Emphasis will be placed on accentuating the absence of a relevant methodology for the preparation and implementation of effective training in companies, especially corporations. It is important to focus on the interconnectedness of the strategy/processes/competence triad as an effective and efficient chain for meaningful and sustainable management and workforce development. The thesis will position itself against across-the-board training as a corporate benefit by taking an investment-based development approach and giving significant consideration to the newly arriving Generations "Y" and "Z". The thesis will look at the new generations, or rather their setting and approach to development and training in more detail. Especially because in a few years these two new generations will become the most economically dominant worldwide. With this comes several questions about their sustainability, the life cycle of employees and at the same time ensuring their quality lifelong development.
