Surrogacy in the Czech Republic - the responsibility and competence of midwives and doctors

This Bachelor thesis is about surrogacy and consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the topic of infertility and assisted reproduction, mainly by the issue of assisted reprodution in surrogacy. It is also focused on legislation of surrogacy and assisted reproduction, the ethical part of surrogacy and on questions that arise for de lege ferenda debates. The main aim of this thesis is to sum up knowledge about surrogacy into well-arranged chapters and by that to raise the awarness about surrogacy in professional but also wider public. The next aim is to find out the knowledge and attitude of midwives from labour rooms, from the department of puerperium and the department of physiological newborns and to make few reflections about the attitude of the staff to surrogacy. One of the last aims of this thesis is to suggest a manual for care procedure about surrogate mother, the infertile couple and the baby. For the practical part of the Bachelor thesis was used a questionnaire and was performed since 1st of February 2022 until 31st of March 2022 towards the whole Czech republic. Variability of the linear description of the cold-blooded horses in the Czech Republic

The aim of the study was to compare the cold-blooded breeds of horses bred in the Czech Republic in terms of variability of shaping the exterior and observe differences among the monitored breeds. It was a breed: Czech-Moravian Belgian horse (CMB), Norick (N)and Silesian Norick horse (SN). Whereas these breeds are originated on a different genetic basis and under different conditions, it is assumed that there is difference between them in the formation of physical characteristics. The results showed that the cold-blooded breeds varies highly statistically in these characters: the withers height measured by tape (WHT), circumference of tibia (CT), type, scope, length of neck, deployment of neck, withers length, length of back, loins length, crop length, the slope of the croup, the width of the body scoop , position of the hind limbs, spaciousness of step. For example, a significant difference among breeds was found in WHT, which has the smallest SN and distinguished it from the other two breeds. Furthermore differs CMB, which has the smallest CT, and thus differs it from N and SN. SN has the longest frame of body and the smallest chest circumference of the studied breeds. The highest deploymentof of neck and the shortest neck was detected in CMB in comparison with N and SN. At an average the longest spine was evaluated in SN and the shortest spine was in the CMB. The best spaciousness of step is evaluation in SN. The correlations among selected characters were monitored too. Strong dependence was found between WHT and WHS (withers height measured by stick) in all three breeds.
Analysis the quail performance

The goal of the bachelor thesis was to assess the quail performance. Production and reproduction characteristics are affected by both genetic and environmental effects. Nutrition, temperature and air humidity, light, air quality and floor space are ranged into them. The laying quail performance of commercial-type Japanese quail is about 300 eggs per year, with an average egg weight of 10 g. The protein content is 13.1% and the fat content is 11.2% in one quail egg. Quail eggs have a very favourable amino acid composition and they contain iron, phosphorus and vitamins A, B1 and B2. The meat has a higher content of myoglobin and darker organic pigments. The meat protein content is 22.9%, the fat content is 1.7?2.9% and the mineral content is 1.1%. The energy value of the breast muscles is 24.57 MJ and of the thigh muscles is 27.15 MJ. The dressing percentage in males is 64.8?65.7 % and in females is 74.8?75.9%.
