The Book of Jonah in the Jewish Tradition
Roučková, Marie ; Balabán, Milan (advisor) ; Hošek, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this work is to portrait prophet Jonah and the tales of his book according to the Jewish tradition. It tries to map the historical and theological background of the origin of the book of Jonah, and on this basis to select the themes the book reacts to and reshapes. One chapter tries to capture the mythological and archetypal motives described in the book of Jonah. The main body of this work, though, is devoted to the very story of Jonah in his book, and its interpretation in the Jerusalem Talmud, in the Babylonian Talmud, in midrashim, in the Kabbalistic text of the Zohar, and in Jona-Vita, the legend of Jonah's life. It also pays attention to the connection between the book of Jonah and the Feast of Yom Kippur, as well as to the comprehension of repentance phenomenon in Judaism. In the conclusion, this work tries to summarize the elementary approaches to interpretation of the book of Jonah, and their significance in Jewish traditions. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Child with Disabilities´ Effect on Intuitive Parenting
ROUČKOVÁ, Marie
This bachelor thesis deals with upbringing and intuitive parenting in families that have children with health handicaps. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of four basic circles. The first of them describes parenting, the family and upbringing of children, the second deals with health handicaps, the third deals with the specifics of parenting with handicapped children, and the fourth focuses on handicapped children. The objective of this bachelor thesis was to find out how family service workers of early care view the upbringing of handicapped children in families that they are in regular contact with. This objective also attempts to find out how this view of the family service workers differs from that of the parents. These objectives form a basis on which the following research questions were set: How do family service workers of early care intervene into the upbringing of children with a health handicap? What are the essential problems in upbringing that parents are confronted with? To achieve the research objectives of the bachelor thesis I chose the strategy of qualitative research. I chose the method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured and free interviews. The respondents were parents of children with a health handicap who use the service of early care in the Region of South Bohemia, and family service workers of early care. The research has resulted in the finding that the child's handicap influences both the upbringing and the intuitive behaviour of the mother. The situation is made more difficult by the fact that the parents lack appropriate consistence in upbringing, they have a protective attitude in their upbringing that does not allow them to reprimand their children, and they forget to give their parental attention and care to the children's siblings. It has turned out that the early care service plays an important role. Family service workers of early care are those who show parents the suitable way, but then it is up to the parents if they follow this way. Parents appreciate contacts to families with similar life stories. For this reason I want to recommend organising more common events in centres or setting up a club for parents in which they would meet regularly.
