Ptáčková, Veronika ; Hronek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Konečná, Klára (referee)
This project monitored changes of coagulation during physiological pregnancy by metering of choice coagulation parameters. Includes also the summary of coagulation changes near gravid women and complications that are may their owing to come. For change monitoring was measured value of Protrombin test (PT), Activated parcial tromboplastine test (APTT) and level of fibrinogen (FBG) and D-dimer (DDI) near healthy of gravid women in time up to 20., 30. and 40. week of pregnancy. Metering was effected on Dade Behrings analyzer in haematology laboratory CHL and TC General faculty hospital Prague. Outcomes were statistically processed. Was found, that the value of coagulation tests PT (P=0,0793) and APTT (P=0,1232) not show during pregnancy any relevant changes, happens only to their mild fall in terms of physiological divide. On the contrary, level FBG (P<0,0001) and DDI (P=0,0311) during pregnancy increased. Values of all parameters depend on a week pregnancy. Pregnancy is hypercoagulation state, which is effected above all decrease fibrinolytic activities and products of placenta. Imbalance among for- and anticoagulative action is able to make many complications, threating mother also fetus. Hypercoagulation conditions bear to also found increased levels of FBG and DDI.
Eating disorders at ski jumping athletes
Ptáčková, Veronika ; Vilikus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Petráková Doležalová, Radka (referee)
In my bachelor's thesis I have been dealing with a risk behavior in the field of nutrition of Czech men and women ski jumpers. The goal of the bachelor's thesis was to find out whether Czech men and women ski jumpers maintain their physiological weight, whether they use inappropriate practices (for example, induction of vomiting) in the context of weight loss. I also investigated whether there is an effort of the International Ski Federation to reduce the risk of eating disorders among athletes engaged into this discipline. In the theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis, I focused on individual types of eating disorders, risk factors for their occurrence, health complications associated with eating disorders or the epidemiology of these disorders. Furthermore, I focused on the ski jumping itself, explained the rules, especially those concerned about the weight of jumpers. I found out how important is the weight of the jumper in the final length of his jump. I also focused on the development of body weight of professional ski jumpers. The practical part was realized in the form of own designed non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was filled in by 49 respondents, 17 women and 32 men. According to the BMI, a third of respondents are underweight, more often women (55 % of women). A...

Ptáčková, Veronika ; Mazouch, Petr (advisor) ; Hulík, Vladimír (referee)
The master thesis deals with failed studies at universities in the Czech Republic. The first part is focused on literary research, on explanation of theoretical terms and on statistical methods, which are subsequently applied in the analytical part. These are decision trees and logistic regression that helped to determine the influence of factors on studies without graduation. The aim of this master thesis is to find significant factors, to compile a profile of failed students and to suggest the measures which could reduce their elimination from tertiary education.
