Cytogeographic patterns in the distribution of polyploid plants with special reference to the Southern Hemisphere

Polyploidy plays a key role in plant evolution. Among other things, it also has a major impact on the migratory ability and adaptability of plants. This paper summarizes the known characteristics of polyploidy and its relationship to geographic distribution, including the latitudinal trend, or the increase of polyploids with latitude (especially northwards). Subsequently, the distributional patterns of polyploid plants are examined in this paper using specific studies within the Northern Hemisphere, where there is a large amount of data regarding polyploid distribution, particularly in Europe and North America. Attention is also focused on the occurrence of polyploidy in the Southern Hemisphere, with particular reference to South America. However, the distribution of polyploids in the Southern Hemisphere has not been studied as extensively as in the Northern Hemisphere. Nevertheless, some meta-analyses and case studies suggest a similar trend to that in the Northern Hemisphere. In addition, the paper also discusses indications of polyploid evolution in the plant species Berberis empetrifolia and Ephedra chilensis, which could be suitable model groups in the future. Proposal of a vertical wood splitting device

This bachelor thesis deals with the research of components, types of structures and the functioning of the whole system in order to design a vertical hydraulic splitting device that uses the hydraulic circuit of a tractor. The theoretical part focuses on the types of structures and drive methods in the introduction. Then the focus is on the design elements and safety in the operation of the vertical hydraulic splitting device. The last chapter of this part is a detailed investigation of the components that are found in the hydraulic circuit of the given structure. The practical part deals with the design of the hydraulic circuit together with its elements. Subsequently, it deals with the design of the structure according to the specified parameters. Finally, a drawing documentation was created, which includes a drawing of the vertical hydraulic splitting assembly, a drawing of the welding sub-assembly of the frame structure and a profile drawing.

Speed Increasing for Track Section Bojkovice-Bohuslavice nad Vláří

This thesis will examine possibilities of increse speed on a railway track section between Bojkovice - Bohuslavice nad Vláří. The increase of speed will examined according to contemporary geometric parameters of the railway track and with proposed changes of geometric parameters of the railway track. The proposed changes cannot profoundly transformate the body of the railway track. In both cases a restriction of speed by level crossing, a track branching ect. will be taken into consideration or will propose changes of these objects.

Videomeaning is the second of a series of pictorial compositions. They build on linking words and their meanings, each one kreujúcich framework. In the version of the genre are the outputs of the four characters in the same situation in one room, each of which can function as a single unit with an inherent background as well as a sample, cut a kind of fictional universe, which in his work long build. Imagine more storey house on each floor and several rooms. Monochrome spaces throughout the building, where the color and atmosphere determined by light and sound in every room differently. As one of the rooms, the floors, the theme of which is Videomeaning. Room inhabit in this case four characters, each living their own lives. The characters carried by description, white card on which the explanation of their meaning in the simplest form possible. They are the only other inhabitants of the house. On this floor is their meaning, have meaning. Explanation importance. The first plan. Name, origin, function and material. Some character is a separate room, another may be the opposite in greater numbers, and the focus is more on the compositional enjoyment. Indeed, each it is operating on their own, unless in one act with several characters to one meaning. For this moment, I chose the example of the four figures that work in both cases.

Trends in Contemporary Art

Diploma work consists of 4 oil paintings on canvas and 10 paintings on paper. Abstract character of these paintings defines their dreamy atmosphere, which was created in Intermedia department and captures autor’s approach towards painting. This diploma work has ambitions to belong to contemporary art scene, especially in the context of contemporary painting. Author reflects that art scene and is aware of its tendences and trends. There might be few questions; what are these trends? what is their meaning and how can they be reflected by curators and critics? Will these trends persist and will they become classified? Simultaneously author perceives the autonomy of Intermedia department and its liberty. Collection entitled „ARE“ was created with awareness of the fact, that everyone can see their beings in their own eyes. Author created them by her own eyes and by that she claims they „are“.
