In the theoretical part, findings related to the oral hygiene, oral health, dental care and preventive programs are presented. The practical part refers about research carried out on 96 teenagers in the age of 14 to 19, about their familiarity with this issue and expected responding on dental care in this age group. All adolescents say they visit a dentist, mostly for preventive reasons, most of them report to brush the teeth twice per day, state general satisfaction with their teeth and the dentist. Taking the fact of the responents being in the growing up phase into consideration, it is probable to identify here theso called effect of social desiderability. Discussion and conclusions sum up the obtained results.
Quality of life in patients with denture

The theoretical part explains the concept of "quality of life" and mentions the specific methods used to evaluate the quality of life related to oral health. We can also focus on the distribution of dental restorations, proper care of dentures, nutritional problems in patients with denture, dental prostheses issues of intolerance, the importance of communication. The empirical part examines the quality of life in 100 outpatients with denture using OHIP questionnaire 20E. We conclude that the whole area is the worst experience of physical handicap. Other areas in which patients experience difficulties, including: functional limitations, physical pain and psychological discomfort. Less problematic are the other three areas: psychological disability and social disability, handicap.
