Smart bearings
Junek, Jaroslav ; Polnický, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hartl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of smart bearing, which can be used to refine and determine the condition of the bearing. Due to its advantageous availability of the cyber-physical system as a suitable apparatus for industrial use. The links and connections within this system are mentioned here. The following is a summary of commercially available smart bearings. It is complemented by patent solutions and scientific studies, which could point to future developments in this area.
Design of a Rotation Module for a Knee Simulator
Pauliuchenka, Aliaksandr ; Polnický, Vojtěch (referee) ; Ranuša, Matúš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design and construction of a rotational knee joint simulator module. The purpose of the rotational module is to approximate the simulations to the actual movements during the gait cycle. The module will be used for programmed tibial rotation of the spacer. After the boundary conditions were determined conceptual designs of possible solutions were developed and then the selected option was developed. The resulting design allows the implementation of conditions compliant with ISO 14 243-3. The work includes complete drawings and digital data.
Design of the loading mechanism for low load
Polnický, Vojtěch ; Galas, Radovan (referee) ; Nečas, David (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to provide a design and full drawing documentation of instrument for applying low loads. In case of realization, the mechanism will be implemented into a ball-on-disc laboratory tribometer, which is used in the laboratory of IMID FME BUT in Brno. The first part of the thesis deals with research study of tribometers considering the configuration of test samples and loading mechanism systems. According to information analysis, four different variants are introduced. The final design is described in detail, including the information about the advantages and disadvantages. This design is developed into technical drawings and electronic models.
Design of knee joint simulator
Polnický, Vojtěch ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design and realization of an experimental device. The purpose of device is the simulation of dynamic and kinematic conditions of knee replacement during the walking cycle. The simulator will be used to study the formation of the lubricating film in contact of the femoral component and the polyethylene spacer, and to the cyclic wear tests for knee replacements. First part of thesis is focused on the description of working parameters of knee replacements and analysis of knee joint simulators. The description of conceptual design and selection of the final variation follows. The final design allows simulation of dynamic and kinematic conditions of ISO 14 243-3. Creation of lubricating film is analyzed by the non-contact optical fluorescence microscopy method. The work includes complete drawing documentation, wiring diagram, verification of the functionality of the device and detailed operating instructions.
