There is not enough relevant data on the use of drugs and other therapeutic agents during pregnancy in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work was to identify and analyse drugs, food supplements, complementary and alternative medicine and information sources used by women during pregnancy. Methods An observational cross-sectional survey was conducted in three maternal wards of The Institute for the Care of Mother and Child in Prague. A questionnaire was distributed for 6 weeks during May and June 2015 to all women meeting the inclusion criteria. Comprehensibility of the questionnaire was verified by a pilot survey, these results were not included in the evaluation. The questionnaire consisted of 61 closed, semi-open and open questions and was accompanied by a letter with the inclusion criteria. The questionnaire was anonymous...
