The Using of Fundamental Analysis to Evaluate the Price of the Chosen Stock

In the first part the diploma thesis is focused for introduction to fundamental analysis and in the second part is the fundamental analysis practiced on O2 Czech Republic a.s. The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the intrinsic value of stocks selected valuation models and compare them with the market price, and finally issue investment recommendations on selected shares. Global Analysis examines the macroeconomic conditions that affect in the long-term the financial market. Sectoral analysis is focused on the telecommunications sector, where factors affecting the selected sectors are assessed. In corporate analysis, financial analysis is made and in the end intrinsic value of shares O2 Czech Republic a.s. is calculated.
Investing in the Financial Market

The theoretical part focuses on creating a basic comprehensive overview related to the functioning of financial markets. This is then supplemented with essential facts that are focused on investing in mutual funds, investment risk, volatility and other important factors that form the information basis for every investor. In the practical part, they are composed on the basis of the investment portfolio used by a virtual portfolio approach to investing. These portfolios are based on real data and the amount of one million crowns is placed in a model investment in both portfolios. Individual mutual funds are analyzed both individually and in relation to the portfolio they belong to. To create relevant and quantifiable conclusions, elements of technical analysis indicators in the form of beta coefficient of determination and CAPM (Capital Asset Pricing Model) are used. The final part consists of a unique model that compares and consequently clearly demonstrates the difference in the effectiveness of the implementation of regular investments compared to a single one within the both created investment portfolios.
Use of Bond Analysis during Estimating Process of Exchange Rates of Selected Securities

The diploma thesis uses theoretical knowledge from the literature sources. The diploma thesis characterizes capital market and the securities which are active on the capital market. The main theoretical part of diploma thesis is about bonds. The practical part of diploma thesis is to analyse and compare the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond. All of chosen bonds are active on the Czech capital market. The analyses of the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond are provides by calculating of the intrinsic value (the present value) of the bonds, of the profitability of the bonds and of the duration of the bonds. The analyses consists also from the comparing the liquidity of the bonds and their risk. The diploma thesis includes also a global fundamental analyze. The final part of diploma thesis is comparing of the results of the analyses of the bonds and also includes the advice for the potential investor which bond is better for investing.
Evaluation the Financial Situation of the Selected Business Entity

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the selected company Eutit Ltd. for a selected period. The firm is the world's largest producer of fused basalt. Assessing the financial situation will be made for the period 2012-2015. The theoretical part focuses on the theoretical foundations of financial analysis, describes its objectives, principles of the method used most in practice provides a current view on the issue of financial analysis. The practical part describes the selected company, its history and present. For the evaluation of economic situation of company Eutit Ltd. was the use of horizontal, vertical analysis, financial ratios analysis using bankruptcy or credibility models. Subsequently, the calculated values of indicators will be compared with the industry average values. In conclusion, the evaluated results of the financial analysis are to determine the overall economic effectiveness of the selected company with evaluated as very positive.
Effect of Exchange Rate Hedging on the Performance of Collective Investment Fund

Collective investment is among the fastest growing areas of investment in financial markets. Its importance within each economy is influenced by the level of development of the capital market. The beginnings of collective investment in the Czech Republic are associated with the coupon privatization in the 90s of the last century. The basic advantages of this method of investing can include risk diversification, professional portfolio management, liquidity of the investment, regulation and tax benefits. The theoretical part describes the historical development of this business in the financial market. The systematization of collective investment was proposed according to the subject of investing, the method of returns distribution to investors, the terms of investment strategy, the investor's investment profile and according to the existing legislation. Transparent classification schemes were created for particular perspectives. The analytical part of the thesis analyzes the processes used to measure the performance of mutual funds, characterization of the risks associated with collective investment and the possible ways to hedge the foreign currency exchange rate risk. The outputs of the thesis respond to two hypotheses: H1: The monthly cost to hedge the foreign exchange risk affects the monthly performance of the mutual fund on the basis of the correlation in time series. H2: Is the information on the costs of exchange rate hedging required for quality decisionmaking for a small investor (consumer).
Technical Analysis of Chosen Stock Titles

Subject of master's thesis, "Technical Analysis of Chosen Stock Titles" is a study of both technical analysis and focus of usability of technical analysis in practice. At the beginning, this work focuses on theoretical materials, which are then used for elaborating methods of technical analysis. Finally, the work includes testing of individual elements of technical analysis and application of technical indicators in capital markets.

The topic of the thesis Efficiency of investments company Ecoproduct s.r.o. (Ltd.) is the analytical evaluation of activities, processes, economic (financial) value of the company, the influence of a legal framework on activities of the firm and last but not least the assessment of new investments. The theoretical part is referencing properly cited expert information resources. The practical application includes SWOT analysis of efficiency of the company more focused on the technical and marketing analysis (4P). The paper also brings a financial analysis of investments to the company including evaluation of performance indicators. In the resume there is the analysis of an investment to the production of beef innards and the proposal of acquisition of new machine production.

The work focuses on describing key methods used by investors for appraising equities. First comes a description of the nature of shares, laws connected to their ownership and their types. This is followed by an explanation of the main analytical approaches to shares; the fundamental, technical and psychological analyzes. The efficient market theory, which is in opposition to the three previously mentioned approaches, is also described. The practical part of this work makes use of theoretical knowledge and applies some of them on a real, existing equity. It is a technology company Apple. In the beginning there is a basic description followed by basic company indicators and a description of the corporations products and services portfolio. Based on the company indicators, the work also compares the company with five other companies competing on the stock market in the same industry. Lastly, the work compares the development of prices of the company shares with the development of the stock market index NASDAQ.
Evaluation of selected mortgage bonds traded on the capital market in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with evaluation of selected securities lending and specifically mortgage bonds. These bonds are attractive because of their low risk and therefore relatively certain revenue especially for conservative investors. The first part deals with the general presentation bonds and specific theoretical definition of mortgage bonds. It describes their issuance, trading, protection, development of the market for mortgage bonds, linking to the mortgage loans and then it represents issuers who provide mortgage bonds on the Czech market. The second part deals with the analysis and comparison of the returns currently offered bonds on the PSE. Their yield to maturity is monitored in relation to other properties of bonds, such as time to maturity, nominal value, etc., Including, issuers and investment recommendations for different types of investors.

The content of the Bachelor thesis named,, Stock analysis "is, as other theses, divided into two parts, which are the theoretical basis and practical part, taking primarily information from the first part and personal experiences with the movements of stock prices. In the first part the reader learns the basic building blocks, procedures and principles of functioning fundamental analysis as global analysis, industry analysis and company analysis and as graphs, graphical modeling and technical analysis methods. The second part of the thesis is a subsequent application of theoretical knowledge of technical analysis to predict the progression of stock title known as automotive concern Volkswagen before the scandal Dieselgate when shares of the company had one of the largest declines in history.
