Chosen Issues of Post-penitentiary Care of Released Criminal Offenders

The "Chosen Issues of Post-penitentiary Care of Released Criminal Offenders" bachelor thesis deals with the system of social services provided for the individuals released from prison. The system is viewed as an intersection of two main social intentions; elimination of criminal recidivism and social ingration of ex-inmates. These intentions are reflected in the states security and social policy. The author uses stakeholder analysis to inquire into the post-penitentiary care system. This way she defines relevant stakeholders, their basic aims and rate of interest, as well as the activities of various stakeholders and their influence of the clients' situation. The basic categories of stakeholders are the service providers, their clients and other stakeholders influencing the clients and their situation. The more detailed categorization is based on the public service system. In terms of the stakeholder analysis and interviews with experts there are identified the basic problems the stakeholders have to face. The problems concern relationships among service providers, public opinion and measurability of post-penitentiary care achievements. The brief description of the problems is complemented by suggestions of their solutions or modulation of their impacts.

Ekonomické dopady zrušení základních škol praktických v mikroregionu Lipensko

This bachelor thesis deals with economical impact after cancelling practical primary school, specifically in the micro-area Lipensko which is also the main aim. At the beginning of this thesis there are defined various important concepts about education and funding of education in the Czech Republic. In the next part of the thesis there are described all public primary schools in the micro-area and then there is performed an analysis of the costs and expenditure on some of them. In the end of the thesis there are identified new potential costs and expenditure associated with inclusions and an evaluation of the potential economic impact.

Age management ve vybraných organizacích

The thesis deals with age management at selected elementary schools. It de-scribes demographic development, labour market, specifics of older workers, age management and pedagogical profession. Using qualitative research, data were obtained from teachers over 50 years old and the management of selected schools for subsequent analysis. These data were supplemented by quantitative research. Based on an analysis of all data and in accordance with the literature, measures have been proposed, for which the cost of their implementation was subsequently estimated.

The Propensity to Government Budget Deficit: Analysis of the Influence of Political Cycle on Czech Fiscal policy

The basic goal of diploma thesis "The Propensity to Government Budget Deficit: Analysis of the Influence of Political Cycle on Czech Fiscal policy" is to identify fundamental factors which influence decisions about the size of government budget balance and to analyze the influence of political cycle on the volume and structure of government expenditures in the period of 1993-2009. Analysis is based on theories which are connected to the areas of public sector, state and its function, public finances, government budget, the process of generating budget, political cycle, political parties and europeanization. The problem of propensity to budget deficits is structured using dimensional analysis and problem tree. The influence of political cycle is verified by using the combination of qualitative analysis of policy documents and quantitative analysis of specific indicators. Analysis classifies external and internal factors influencing the tendency to deficit budgeting. Political cycle is one of those internal factors becouse it is affected by the decision making process of political representatives. The influence of political cycle on the volume of government expenditures and the expenditures of the Ministry of Labor and social affairs could not be demonstrated on data.
