Flip-dot matrix display
Petřek, Miroslav ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a control system that complements the existing BS110 flip-dot display panel and enables Ethernet and wireless communication. It first briefly discusses the original use of the display, and gives an overview of the display types. This is followed by an analysis, testing and repair of the BS110 panel, followed by a description of the proposed concept and the development of the control computers and their circuitry. For these, the thesis further describes the design and implementation of the software consisting of a website, database, MCU control script and display circuit control program. Finally, the system so designed and built is demonstrated and evaluated.
CCD detection of media meters with RF communication
Petřek, Miroslav ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and implement devices capable of sensing and transmitting states wirelessly, meaning the measured values of the consumption meters. In the work are first briefly described the basic types of the consumption meters and their possibilities of processing and transmission of the measured data. Furthermore, the most common types of communications used today for data transfer between sensors and microcontrollers are mentioned. The design of the device itself consists of identifying suitable units and their properties and then choosing the circuits. In the work is briefly described the process of schematic and printed circuit boards design, their installation with selected components and modules and the subsequent first startup. The penultimate part of the thesis deals with the design of software for commissioning and communication between the computer and individual components of the device. At the end, the results and suggestions for improvement of the existing equipment are consulted.
Využití systému Endpoint Manager pro správu desktopových a mobilních zařízení
Petřek, Miroslav
PETŘEK, M. Use of Endpoint manager for desktop and mobile device management. Mendel University, Brno, 2022. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to introduce the reader to the topic of endpoint management using Microsoft Endpoint Manager. At the beginning of the thesis the reader is introduced to the characteristics of this system together with Microsoft Intune. Subsequently, the reader is informed about the life cycle of devices and applications. In the following section, the use of touchless deployment with operating systems from Apple and Microsoft is introduced. Further, the practical part presents the methodology of creating the bachelor thesis along with the configuration profiles created. The methods of touchless deployment using Windows Autopilot and Apple School Manager are introduced. Finally, a discussion and possible extensions of the project are presented.
