The Bachelor Thesis deals with the Czechoslovak-Polish economic relations after 1945 and mainly focuses on foreign trade. It examines the period since the Second World War, after 1989, a collapse of the Eastern Bloc. Relations have been influenced by some previous situations, which are also mentioned. The main cooperation starts from the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Assistance on 10th March 1947. It had been extended several times and some new long-term contracts and mutual cooperation were signed, hence, the cooperation had increasingly deepened. Finally, Poland became the third most important trading partner of the Czechoslovakia. The thesis is divided into three parts where the first part aims at development of Czechoslovakia and the second part at the history of Poland . These two circuits are rather theoretical part. The practical part is mainly in the third topic, which has in objective broader economical and political cooperation and the development of international trade. In conclusion, I summarize whether the hypothesis, proposed in the Introduction, should be confirmed or refused.
