Possibilities of treatment of diplopia when suffering from paralitic strabismus with the use of conservative methods

Summary: Possibilities of treatment of diplopia when suffering from paralitic strabismus with the use of conservative methods Purpose The aim of this thesis is to assess the effectiveness of ambulant pleoptic-ortoptic exercises complemented by domiciliary rehabilitation using specially adapted software - applied to patiens with suddenly occured eye movement disorder and diplopia. Methods Representative sample was composed od 86 adult patients suffering from sudden eye movement disorder and diplopia, containing 33 rehabilitating ones in treatment group and 53 not rehabilitating patients in control group. The eye movement disorder was caused by cerebrovascular accident, craniocerebral injury or vascular disease. All the patients underwent complex eye and ortoptic examination as well as objectification of the eye movement disorder and diplopia by Hess-Lancaster test. Both treatment and control group have been observed for 3 - 6 months. Results An average improvement of 96.8 % (P ≤ 0,01) was reached in the treatment group - in case of the extent of horizontal deviation of strabismus (for rehabilitating adults having the infliction n. Jindřich Skopec - the priest and historian

This submitted diploma thesis deals with the life of Jindřich Skopec (1873-1942), who worked as a priest, an archivist, a teacher of theology at a secondary school and a historian. His interests were multilateral, but he indelibly imprinted his name in the past thanks to his unflagging diligence and his honest work. He built his eternal memorial with his careful word processing of the work called "The memories of František Jan Vavák, neighbour and mayor in Milčice". These "Memories" were published in five books and the publisher was "Dědictví svatojánské". Thus, he became an honorary membership of history research group. Publishing of these "Memories" was Skopec´s life work and unforgettable legacy for the future generation. He also deeply stuck in mind of his contemporaries, because he dedicated his life to education of youth. He taught them to religious belief, moral and deeply humility. The diploma thesis is ever the first that tries to contain the life of this outstanding priest and historian from his early childhood over his clerical activity to his research activity.

The bachelor thesis deals with the child support, and in particular the child support parents to children. The theoretical part describes some of the basic concepts, discusses the social function of maintenance, describes the impact of divorce on children, lists the types of maintenance on the creation, modification, termination and child support of parents to children and further defines the scope of child support. Subsequently, the paper deals with the recovery of maintenance and performance penalty. The practical part is finding reasons non-maintenance, non maintenance impact to the beneficiaries, how they differ or agree the views of professionals and how they may be specialist beneficial in preventing the offense of neglecting child support.
