Depiction of Family in Spanish and Czech Phraseology

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe Czech and Spanish idiomatic phrases related to family members. The thesis consists of three parts - theoretical, practical and case study. The initial part is dedicated to theoretical aspects of phraseology and determination of basic terms regarding the differences in approach of Czech and Spanish linguistics. The base of the practical part is a corpus of Czech and Spanish idiomatic phrases which are analysed from semantic point of view. The emphasis is primerily put on the research of the rate of equivalence between Spanish and Czech idioms and to the investigation of differnces and common features between both languages. The case study follows on from the list of Mexican idiomatic phrases related to family members that are further analysed from semantic viewpoint.
Reflection on the Spanish Civil War and Francoist era in Contemporary Spain

The main aim of this theses is to evaluate the remnants of the period of the civil war and the Franco era in contemporary Spain and to describe the steps that were made to break the collective silence. The first three chapters present an overview of Spain during the civil war and the Franco dictatorship and describe the process of it's transformation into a democratic country. The fourth chapter deals with the process of opening the mass graves. Becouse of the inactivity of the state, varios associations of victims took charge of this process. Afterwards the attention is paid to the most important symbol of Francoism, Valle de los Caídos, which became the tumb of the dictator and at the same time the place of the last rest of many victims of the civil war. The sixth and concurrently the last chapter is dedicated to Historical memory law of which aim was to compensate the victims of the civil war and to close the period of the division of the spanish society.
The cult of Benito Mussolini in Contemporary Italian Society

The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the cult of Mussolini's personality from the beginning till nowadays. The first three chapters present an overview of the life of Benito Mussolini. The objective is to capture the most important milestones in his life, to bring closer his personality, which was one of the factors that involved the formation of the cult of the Duce, and outline the developement of Mussolini's ideology. The fourth chapter deals with the main causes of the formation of the cult and the tactics of it's consolidation. Afterwards the attention is paid to the cult of Mussolini in contemporary Italy. This chapter is replenished with a number of particular examples, there are also summed up the reasons of the revival of this cult. The sixth and at the same time the last chapter analyze the developement of the Italian extreme right with an emphasis on contemporary neo-fascist tendencies.
