Theoretical knowledge of first aid of pupils with hearing impairment educated by different communicational approach

Title: Theoretical knowledge of first aid of pupils with hearing impairment educated by different communicational approach. Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to compare the level of theoretical knowledge concerning the first aid at schools for pupils with hearing impairment depending on main communicational approach. The partial goal is to determine if there is a connection between subjective evaluation of first aid knowledge, the ability to provide the first aid and the theoretical knowledge itself. Methods: Questionnaire containing 14 questions was used to determine pupils' knowledge. It was distributed in three elementary schools for hearing impaired children. The aiming group were pupils from the 9th and 10th grade of elementary school. Altogether 18 respondents from 3 elementary schools (X, Y and Z) participated in the research. There were 5 pupils in each class at schools X and Y, and both schools used bilingual communication as the education method, the questionnaire was translated into sign language there. At school Z there were 8 pupils and they were educated by the oral method. Data were converted into electronic form and graphically processed in the program Numbers. Trávy v zahradní a krajinářské architektuře

The aim of this monograph was to prepare the text portion of the topic ornamental grasses, outline their origins, to deal with the selected properties of grasses, whether environmental, horticultural or compositional. Furthermore, the search for information concerning reproduction, significance and possible recommendations on the use of grasses. Drafted was both a literary review, and the results of the discussions that are new valuable for practical application. At selected model areas were conducted annual observations in the 14-day interval in 100 selected taxa of ornamental grasses in order to evaluate the properties of selected grasses on which there has been redefined and graphic arts habitual types. Results and discussion therefore engaged a total of five subchapters. The first is the phenology ornamental grasses, as well as evaluation of selected properties of grasses, habitual types of ornamental grasses, compositionally interesting combination of ornamental grasses with other horticultural plant groups and recommendations for the use of ornamental grasses in practice. The author has created a work based on the annual observation of ornamental grasses valuable material, which in this way has not yet been processed. Growth and development phases are highly traceable, based on photographs taken on their own, which is part of taxa cards. At the end, the author generalized conclusions based on the results of chapters and discussion.

Volunteering in a developed market society

The aim of this Master's thesis is to describe the motives and opinions on volunteering among university students, whether they volunteer or not. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts and the most important information from this area and form the basis for practical part of this thesis. The practical part is processed by a questionnaire and focuses on the situation in volunteering among university students and detects whether there is any link between chosen subject of study and relation to volunteering. In the final summary of the research and thesis the benefits of thesis are evaluated and recommendations for practice are formulated.

Treatment programs with drug addicted persons in Czech prisons

Drug addiction presents a problem that negatively influences the whole society. If the drug addicted person is imprisoned, it is important to solve this situation. There are various treatment programs that are performed in the drugless zones or specialized wards. Providing of substitution treatments and harm reduction programs is at the beginning in Czech prisons. The non-governmental organizations associated with Association of non-governmental organization in department of Drug service in prisons provide support and help too. Prison service of The Czech Republic makes efforts to eliminate drug abuse through anti-drug measures like drug monitoring. I devoted to treatment programs, anti-drug measures, service provided by non-governmental organizations and drug abuse in prisons in the first theoretical part of my work. In the second one, I described these issues more specifically through interview with specialists from prisons and non-governmental organization.
