Pĺžik, Viktor ; Veselá, Jitka (advisor) ; Mazáček, David (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on using the principles of fundamental analysis in order to formulate an investment recommendation with regard to the publicly traded company Tiffany & Co. Making use of established investment methods, it is performed in three consecutive parts. Firstly, the global analysis views the macroeconomic environment and its possible impact on stock prices. Secondly, the industry analysis examines the conditions in which the luxury jewellery market operates and what challanges it might be exposed to in the future. Thirdly, the company analysis treats historical, present and expected data in the process of determining the intrinsic value of the company, using various methods of calculation. The objective of this part is the establishment of a reasonable investment recommendation.
