Living legacy of Michael Chekhov acting method

(in English): This Bachelor's thesis called Living legacy of Michael Chekhov acting method is divided into three thematic units. The first unit presents so called Stanislavski's system, the first complex conception of modern acting method, developed by Konstantin Sergeievich Stanislavski during his time in Moscow Art Theatre. The second unit apprises the readers with life and especially the method of one of the Stanislavski's followers Mikhail Aleksandrovich Chekhov. The objective of this thesis is to find out whether the legacy of Chekhov's acting method is still alive. The research is presented in the final unit which describes the acting studios founded by Chekhov himself during his life but also another existing studios around the world.
St.Wenceslas League

The bachelor's thesis deals with the history of the St. Wenceslas League (hereinafter SvL). SvL was an association of Catholic intelligence, whose task was to organize activities related to the Czech Catholic Action movement. Chapter 3 deals with Catholic action. SvL was founded in 1930, when two associations merged: the Committee for the Celebration of the Millennium Anniversary of the Death of St. Wenceslas, who organized the St. Wenceslas celebrations in 1929 and the Association of Catholic Intelligence, created from the Czech Academic League. Chapter 2 deals with Catholic associations - the predecessors of the SvL. Celebrations of the millennium of the death of St. Wenceslas are briefly described in Chapter 4. The following chapters describe the activities of the SvL. Most of the events organized by this association were realized in the 1930s. SvL also published two magazines - Přehled and Katolík. During the war, the activities of the association slowed down to a complete halt, but after the war it was resumed, albeit only briefly. In 1949, the SvL was officially dissolved. Part of the work is also devoted to a brief biography of some of the founding members of the association.
