Paris Peace Accords and their fulfilling
Nepovím, Martin ; Zelenda, Jiří (advisor) ; Nováková, Barbora (referee)
Agreement on Ending the War and Restoring Peace in Vietnam, which is probably better known as Paris Peace Accords, was the result of negotiations which took several years and it was supposed to lead to the end of fights in Vietnam. After several years of negotiations its final version was signed by members of four parties which were involved in the conflict on the Twenty-seventh of January, 1973. All the parties agreed to fulfil terms of the Agreement. The focus of this bachelor's work is to find out whether the terms of Paris Peace Accords were fulfilled. The work should reveal what terms were fulfilled and also what parts were not fulfilled. With these information, another questions will be raised - for example who was overseeing if the parties were fulfilling the terms, how successful this supervision was and what sanctions were imposed against the parties. Keywords: the Second Indochina War, Paris Peace Accords, Fall of Saigon, Unification of Vietnam
