Distribution of profit and other capital in commercial capital company Abstract The right to receive dividends is one of the fundamental rights of each shareholder of a capital company. Even though it stems from the very nature of a capital company that its shareholders will often wish to exercise solely their right to receive dividends, and not their right to participate in the management of the company, it is obvious that even capital companies may be established for purposes other than that of achieving profit alone. At the same time, companies, which were established solely for the purpose of achieving profit may wish to postpone the realization of profit for various reasons. Therefore, it is important for the law to be flexible enough to accommodate these needs while still providing adequate protection to creditors and minority shareholders of the company. Generally speaking, the Czech legal regulations governing the distribution of profit and other capital strike the balance between these competing interests fairly well. On the other hand, the rules contained in the Business Corporations Act are surrounded by a number of interpretational problems and uncertainties, e.g. because the applicability of the Czech Supreme Court jurisprudence issued in relation to the former Commercial Code has been called...

Dark Web: Black market on the internet and its impact on the Czech national economy in the years 2011-2015

The main goal of this thesis is to analyse the influence of the Dark Web on the national economy of the Czech Republic between the years 2012 and 2014. The term 'the Dark Web' and basic elements, which are related to the internet black market, are analysed in the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis contains the estimation of the impact of the Dark Web on the national economy, particularly on national accounts, and other macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, tax colletion, the size of the grey market and the black market, employment and exchange rates. The estimation is based on the available data from both the Czech Republic and abroad. Time periods, in which the mentioned macroeconomic indicators from the Czech Republic are affected, are determined at end of the thesis. By using available data, it is possible to prove the influence of the Dark Web on the Czech national economy and on the mentioned macroeconomic indicators. For example, in 2014, the Dark Web accounted for less than 9 per mille of the GDP of the Czech Republic. Another conclusion is that the Dark Web contributed less than 0,1 % to the grey economy, and less than 2 % to the illegal economy. The internet black market accounted for nearly 8 per mille of the revenue of social security and health insurance.

Práce poskytuje základní přehled o stavu a průběhu vývoje ekonomiky Spojených států amerických na přelomu tisíciletí a v následujících pěti letech, přičemž největší pozornost je věnována vývoji amerického hospodářství bezprostředně po teroristických útocích z 11. září 2001, zkoumání přímého a nepřímého vlivu teroristických útoků na jednotlivé složky HDP a na vnější vztahy USA.
